Or when a blade is shaped like a vicious flame for no other purpose than to make a wound more painful and hard to stitch.

What do the non human crews skin feel like? Blue looks much like human, but with islands that are higher or lower. Red looks coarse and unpleasant, but that is maybe just pigmentation? Robo like silicone.
