In addition the gameplay screenshots don't look like Tower Defense. Enemies moving in from the side and the player character on the other side throwing swords at them, looks more like a simplified side-scrolling shooter, or whatever that subgenre is called then.

So anyone know how to get Tier 3 (green) weapons? I'm in the desert and I'm still rocking the first upgrade.

So you just buy the same upgrade multiple times to get the higher tier.

Yes. Each tier of weapon requires 2 of the previous tier. I'm unsure if lower tiers stack with the highest tier or not.

But on the easiest setting the fights are pretty boring. Like I wish everything was 2x speed.
