Maybe they should stick with less ambitious projects and do something remotely simple; or focused their attention on one project instead of scrapping a former and perhaps they would of had a working title after x+ years of development.

I wouldn't be surprise if this gets axed and they strive for a third 'reasonable' project to cater to Patrons demands.

Just wtf, I tried the game quite some time ago and now i see they 'had to remove' animations to please and to bend over backwards for daddy to patreon...
But my question is that who are their costumers? patreon? or the fans who sub on the platform called patreon.
Understandable cuz money, but i wish dev saw that the fans need pleasing and not the platform.
Im sure you can change platform, can you change the fans?

The bonerific traits of an H game are that it can transcend the sanitization of the real world and dig into the real taboo aspects of sexuality without the limitations and ramifications of IRL.

Also, I'm not really well versed into the realities of online transactions, but I can't imagine Patreon not having a governmental entity enforcing what content can and cannot have transactions tied to them. If I'm Patreon, a middleman between consumer and creator, there's no way I'm not taking a cut of every-fucking-penny that flows through me - I just can't see a middleman business like Patreon putting morals before money. Albeit I could be wrong on that I suppose.

With that said, and assuming henceforth every middleman business inevitably falls under the finger of big brother, what transaction houses wouldn't be subject to governmental influence? Would we need to establish a direct, decentralized link between creator and consumer? The aim being to avoid H games being scrubbed into squeaky clean softcore powerpoint slides.

Malice and Machine. That was this dev's first project that he abandoned after scamming a lot of money. And whenever people ask about the promised release he would always say something like "adding lightning effect" or some BS for so long until he completely abandoned it.

That's not actually as bad as it looks.
They lose around 800 patreons at the beginning of every month
They lost around 1150 now. More than usual but nothing that will really hurt them.
They have 256 subs on Subscribestar which covers most of the difference.

I also just noticed that their patreon post promoting the Subscribestar page is set to Patreon only lmao. Just how stupid can you get.

The real question is if it will climb back like it usually does or not.

The game isn't even all that good, so I couldn't care less if Eromancer and Patreon wanna shoot themselves in the foot. The animations and art are pretty good, but the UI is shit, the gameplay is mediocre, and there's no actual progression in the game yet at all. They've had plenty of time to figure this shit out.

"We will fully migrate Pure Onyx off of Patreon, return cut animations, and begin H scene content for all monsters. Our Patreon will be converted to a new rule 34 series featuring H scene animations of popular video game and hentai characters."

As I already said, they're trying to transfer completely from Patreon to SubscribeStar. Let's hope they manage.
