u have too much time on ur hands
and it's legal.
btw, there is 99,(9)% chances that by changing direction of topic to start a discussion about my humble persone we will not change the fact of unnaturaly slow progress of that dev, so better to get back to discussion of the game itself and its slug speed of developement. that got 50% chances to improve it to better, and same chances that it won't influence on anything. but at least we tried - we would be able to say it to next upate(s) with yet another microscopical portion or new content. isn't it sweet? )

I know people abhor the game but can someone update the kemono page of this game, i want to see the progress updates but don't really want to support the devs by paying for it.
It's weird that progress updates are even something that devs would want to paygate. Like, how is someone supposed to decide they want to support your game, if they can't even see your updates showing that you're even doing anything between public releases?

because anyone with a brain will know that their long changelog is bogus. 95% of the list is fluff lol. if it's paygated only the fanatics and the oblivious will see it. that way it's more money because you have to pay to know anything

i'd gladly share more ideas about how to make a better version of this game, since its quility is quite nice, but the lack of options, primitive gameplay and extremly slow "working" will not make that imitation of development to be improved anyhow i guess.
Call me crazy, but a lack of options, primitive gameplay, and extremely slow pace of work would mean the quality of the game is not "quite nice." In fact, it'd make it a downright chocolate-covered turd. Looks good on the outside, but one taste and you'll realize it's shit.

Typical Eromancer update is like "spent the last 8 months adding basic reflections to the game! Now you'll be able to see Onyx reflected in the 2 puddles we put in the stage! Attached a video of the same unreleased scene we've been teasing for the past 2 years! No gameplay improvements though."

By looking at trailers and game descriptions as u do with all games. You get the game and see all updates. You choose to support because u want to, its not a contract, u can start and stop or not begin at all. You also forget ur in a pirate site that illegally gives u content at no cost to u. So not only are u freeloading from dev but from people who paid to share it in the first place. Idk how much more greed u want, you're already waiting for a produce u will never pay for.

Game trailers and descriptions are extremely shallow representations of the actual product and are always used for nothing else besides marketing, so judging wether or not to spend your money based on those is, to me, extremely ignorant towards your own wallet.
Nevermind the fact that they are meaningless and outdated crap in the context of in-development products.

I'm starting to think you're just trolling at this point

STARTING!? it was a troll right from the start

plus trailers and teasers and such(IN THIS CONTEXT) are for games that are finished/nearly finished/has a healthy amount of content. not for games that are in alpha lol. you need a regular public updates for that kind of stuff. transparency or whatever

Here's the new release changelog, nothing new unfortunately. Links sent to be updated
Changelog
The following is only a list of player-facing changes, unless otherwise noted.

  • Added error handling to new loading system (game will now properly show error and exit instead of loading eternally if errors occur during startup)
  • Added turn animations for the Bunny Girls
  • Replaced all turn animations with improved versions that don't glitch out partway through.
  • Enemies almost always play turn animations when intended now, as opposed to just flipping in a single frame when they change direction (still at least one case to fix for Wraxe).
  • Enemy turn animations no longer get interrupted early by subsequent actions.
  • Enemy turn animations can now blend/crossfade into other actions.
  • Edited playback speed on various turn animations and walk cycles
  • Added footstep SFX to turn animations
  • AoE attacks now always knock characters down in the proper direction (exploding barrels, Blade Bunny whirlwind, Charger ground stomp)
  • Multi-hit protection no longer prevents H attacks from connecting with the player
  • Fixed an issue with Bunny Girls' engagement zones that would make them just follow Onyx around
  • Attacks that don't stop movement no longer interrupt and reset in-progress attack combos
  • Attacks that don't stop movement also don't grant multihit protection (taking fire damage will no longer protect from normal attacks or h-attacks)
  • Collision detection for fire attacks (traps) happens on consistent frame intervals so that DPS can be consistently controlled regardless of number of fire sources
  • Bystanders and H scene participants no longer receive fire damage from traps.
  • FX related to H scenes are now properly cleaned up when the scene ends

In case people told me they're neurodivergent with an attention span of a rock, here's a direct link or that you had a lot of time to spare so it'd be better to help Eromancer bugfix his beloved game:

I'd say it's a hard pass but hey, if ya wanna play I won't hold ya

I keep wondering if the people who keep supporting him just forget to cancel the sub so he keeps getting paid.

unlike 3daffect that miro asshole that at least releases some pics and stupid shit (instead of the 3rd part of the promised 3 years ago short movie) in this case Eromancer just doesn't release anything. maybe 1 new animation every month with a bunch of fixes no one asked for because no one cares about. the guy still makes 17k a month, this is not logical that 3000 people see the release logs and think "money worth spent"

I must be missing some logical reality in which Eromancer has an only fans account and he has really hot women dancing around him. otherwise I just can't explain why 3000 people still support him. I've seen some blind simps but at some point there's a limit to how fucking stupid you can be and still exist in the same world as the rest of us

can someone link me messages from his followers over the years, I just have to know what they think...

KittyMaid here is probably the most positive of all, though I'd argue the person is a troll or something like that

Could just be a mix of new and old patrons.
Of those 3000 people, how many do you think have been there the whole time?
How many are, as you said, people who have subbed and just forgot?

It could very well be a revolving door of people who subscribe for a few months, see the dev cycle, and nope the fuck out.
When you look at the project as a whole, yeah, it's kinda worrying; but when you see a gif or two on Twitter or wherever?
There's no denying the game, at first glance, looks appealing. People see it, think "wow neat," pledge for a month or however long, and unpledge when they see the how the development actually goes.

Hell, I was the same way a few years ago. Saw the game, thought "neat," pledged for a bit, and only after a month or so of pledges did I learn what Eromancer did with MATM and the general update cycle of PO.

I think this happens because people stopped at "Wow, this game looked good" and thought the overall product will be as good as it advertised. I think of it as the things that got advertised on TV but it isn't the same when you got it physically.

Marketing is one hell of a drug if you know how to exploit the psychology behind it. Get a fine lady as your main character, propose seggs as the foundation (CGs, Animations, combination of both, etc.), and whether you pull it off or not, at least someone's jacking off to it, and sometimes someone is just like KittyMaid... see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil despite people are criticizing the game because of its overabundance of bug fixing (which is good), but then the bug fix gets too many that the scenes aren't becoming the spotlight. Positivity is a good thing, sure, but it gets rather irradiated when it's past its usefulness.

Most of the porn games I've played so far have a lot of scenes (including VNs that have a bad end to it), and Pure Onyx is more a beat 'em up game with seggs on the side, given how it slowly cooked in the backburner -- maybe it was given the proper attention but at a lower priority. You know something along the lines of "scenes be damned, at least the game worked out for ya in the end, be fucking grateful you mangy piece of shit of a freebie junkie! Why don't you jack off to something else before you smother your screen again jacking off to Onyx?" :KEK::KEK:

So, in short, they were focusing solely on bug fix because it is something that has greater priority than making content. Contents, then, can be applied to any build of the game at any time however Eromancer likes...

Although, that doesn't mean the game is good when one priority overwhelms the other, or one priority is left dormant and abandoned down the line. Strike a balance, and then maybe the people are going to give praise little by little... who knows what fate awaits this game.
