Question: How do you get the game to launch with melonloader if your virus scanner detects the version.dll as a virus, which comes as part of the melonloader installer and quarantines it?

Scan the file with virustotal though...idk if windows flags it I'd be wary.
Also, exclude it in windows defender. On the virus and threatprotection page there's a button for exclusions, add the file there.
Its not windows flagging it though. My AV TotalAV, is the one flagging it. And it usually only flags actual viruses and not false positives.
Now watch him ask for the controls and how to move the camera/scene

Thank you so much, god bless your soul, also is there a way to slow down time and change scene while in free cam?, or I'm a going to have to exit the free cam every time I want to change time and change a scene?.
Depending on the dev team, there are a lot of games who are in development for similar amounts of time and/or never get finished. I consider adult games on this site to almost all be perma early access type games lol. That said what's here is fun and good compared to most games I've tried.
you think they'll be a lesbian only mode kinda thing? like replace all male content with female instead?
the game has stayed virtually the same for like 5 yrs, what do you think?

I've used MelonLoader for years on numerous different games, definitely not a virus. As others have said,

is a great way to check. I can't give advice on your virus scanner, I firmly believe Windows Defender and rudimentary knowledge is sufficient so I'm unsure of the quirks with that.You should be able to hit F7 and change the time or whatever without exiting the free cam. It should only bring up the overlay, not end free cam.
You should be able to change scenes by using the regular keys you would in the menu, you just might not be able to see the menu. Like if you finish an animation while in free cam, you should still be able to use the arrow keys to go up and down and select another scene, you just might not be able to see it. If you hear the menu noises, then you can map out how many up arrows to get to the next scene you want and hit enter without exiting free cam. Or you could just hit the 'Insert' key and go in and out of free cam, which is what I prefer.
ya know, just cuz a game is a side scroller doesn't mean it's a 2d game by default. It's all 3d models in game that are painted over to feel more 2d. That's actually a pretty popular thing these days and tends to require more time than purely 2d or 3d games since it meshes the two.

The game is actually 3D projected in Orthographic viewpoint, making it look like a 2D side-scroller.

Outlines are thickened, shading is applied and shadows are turned off and flattened to make it appear as if each game object is a 2D sprite. If you pay attention to the liquid particles, you may notice they're actually 3D objects.
You should explain that to the guy I originally replied to. I'm not the one calling it a 2D game.
The levels of illiteracy some people have achieved, just baffle me on how they didn't manage to end up offed by their own stupidity already.
