Yeah, my relationship with this game is complicated. First, it's been like 7 years of development, so normally that's beyond acceptable for any game. However as you mentioned, the Q is solid, it's 3D, doesn't directly runs under most engines standards. We're not talking about copy paste CG's either.
Also, at the moment we're seeing a wave A HORDE of scam unreal copy paste games that are getting a ton of unearned praise. So if those are getting 4 stars this one deserves at least that.
It's also hated for political reasons, he hates Trmp. A few months back that would have also made me hate the dev since a few months back, I'm not exactly thrilled by the prez I voted for. Given that he directly caused mass layoffs at my job; lots of good people, not even i///igrants or anything like that. Just average joes, good joes.
I'm rambling. Anyways, my standing with this game, good solid game. LOOONG game, but hey, if people are praising those cheap unreal games, then this one deserves more fairness. Like Karryn's prison. God forbid I point out that maybe that developer should move on to the next awesome game instead of keep milking that dry cow.
Don't get me wrong, this level of milking is scammy. But it's not the worst I've seen, and at least the product is more solid than others. So at this point is anyone's discretion. Me, I won't finance, but I won't pretend it's not good. So if he ever comes back with updates that don't involve skipping animation using a bag, that are not vanilla, multiple updates, I might consider financing. Until then, I'll just stay updated.

if i can add my 5 coins then i would want to point out that lots of game devs just have no idea how to write a game
sure you have scammers yes i am aware of that
but some of these projects seem to grind to a halt because dev has no idea what to do
normally you design the game first and then make it step by step (look at any game dev progress chart)
but most devs here are amateurs that have no idea how to write plot
and plot is kinda inportant unless you wanna make gloryfied gallery viewer
for example malise and the machine could be continued with old graphics if the dev would keep punching out the pics with content
but he decided to go full retard then probably got upset that he has to rework this much work and the money he was making made him even more lazy
i am not trying to absolve devs but i kinda see why they do what they do

Bruh. Either I've gotten so old to the point that I no longer know how to use Cheat Engine anymore, or this shit is just not working. Also, opening the in-game Options menu while the Cheat Engine is running doesn't seem do anything.

I've been trying to find 0.135.0 since that one still works under Windows 7. But I'd settle for 0.133.0.

I also use on windows 7, and last update works .... in another universe parallel to this multiverse of universe we live in.
I was always keeping last update, and trying to next one to see if it works fine, and then i would deleted the last update, and keep the new one.
Changing engine, for me, is a dick a move. Imagine the people backing this project,for all this time, to suddenly "oh right, now you need to get another computer or another Operating System."

Great potential, and an even greater grift. All the money made, yet this'll never see completion. Sometimes I wish these developers were held under tight contractual obligations to deliver within a certain deadline once a certain financial threshold was reached. It's not like Ero can't afford an entire team at this point, right? 
Of course it will, and we already know its going to take months of development time to "fix". Not that they are going to do anything useful like develop the actual game during those months anyway. It is a sideways stall for time just like it took some number of months to change from one version of unity to another, and the other countless stalls for time in the past that have occurred.
I propose the ignore this thread for 6 months challenge. Take a snapshot of where the game is at, and then come back in 6 months time. It is at that point you realize nothing actually changes with the game in that time frame. Other developers could have a game done from start to finish in that time, and they frequently do on ci-en.
