so this scam is still going eh , paid maybe 200€ for this game ( patreon mid tier for 2 years ) apparently his patreon disappeared ?
guess there's nothing more since 12 months. and even then the updates were barely accessory recolours. and rigging . dude couldn't stop rambling about rigging with nothing to show for it.

Patreon shut them down, but like a good virus they spread into other platforms. I think it is on at least two separate platforms that I know of right now. I prefer not to name them since I am not in any way interested in exposing anyone further to this scam. Though this is the exact problem with this scam that I have been alluding to. The sunken cost fallacy is almost like a casino goer that lost a ton of money going "It's gotta turn around, just another $100..." Being I work at a casino, I see this all the time, sadly.
The parallels are real. People put so much into this scam (or any other scam, honestly. I think a nigerian prince might be trying to send you their inheritance by the way if you are reading this.) that the brain can not process that they have been had. Just another month, just another hurdle, just another $100 dollars, or whatever form it manifests in. The result is the same when it comes down to it. The next hurdle, excuse, losing hand, or what ever other reason manifests itself to create the same barrier to the perceived goal.
For those that may remember, the only time that work really ever got done with this was when patreon kicked them to the curb. To perpetuate the scam further on other platforms they had to show progress of some kind. I'd realistically ask anyone that supports this scam to seek help since there wont be a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. (unless you are the scammers who have now bought a house off the back of doing as little as possible.)

I didn't know them back then . Truth is I saw pure onyx and at first glance, the concept looks impressive, well animated , I mean yes it's a scam but the base is solid, precisely why the scam works so well.
so bought in the scam without any prior wariness or investigation . I just subscribed because It looked damn good, and for a while I paid mid tier . (I stopped 2 years ago ) . back then they wanted to add a clothing system.
which they did after but they teased it for a year and when it landed , it was fucking barebones. the clothes were barely different from one another. clearly no work whatsoever . they did in a year what you can do in a week.

Nah.. It's not in limbo. It has been doing what it was meant to do all this time: scam people. Right now, they are collecting almost 43k USD monthly on SubscriberStar alone. Dunno on their other platform; there's no way to tell the amount of subscribers from what I seen on it.
I am not sure how Japanese home mortgages work, but I can guarantee you that this scam is going to be meant to pay for the entirety of the house they just bought. Oh, seems the terms are 35 years long in Japan. Guess how long Pure Onyx is going to get strung along for? I'll give y'all a hint, its going to be as long as that home mortgage term. Get ready for 35 more years of this nonsense.
Got some word from an ex-ship mate in the Navy that was living in Japan and now is in Korea. When they tried to get a loan to buy property they were required to put 30% down and the terms were for 35 years. I did not want to pry when I asked, but they made it clear that getting a house in south korea was more palatable than trying to buy in japan.
Just as an aside, I'll figure that since this scam is going to be perpetrated from japan going forward that they will have to abide by the censorship rules that japan has. That should take at least a few months to adapt the whole concept to that new (stricter) standard.

Have you seen how much their subscribestar alone makes? They're making $30000-$40000 a month before cuts and subscribestar only takes 5% so $28500 approx a month and thats at minimum currently. Thats before any additions from their other outlets like fansly and art commissions etc.
They have been doing that for 10ish years and back then they were making a lot more than they are now. Assuming they havn't absolutely blown all of their capital I seriously doubt they need a mortgage they have made multiple millions over the last decade.
