my theory is that this game was made by japanese devs but a chinese company brought the game to be released in china first because if you listen to the dialogue the name of the girl with pink hair sounds like a japanese name but the subtitles use chinese names

Or because its easier to sell with japanese VA.
The game is probably crap as most games from playmeow who publish it.
Most their games are mixed on steam and people just buy hgames there and give positive meme reviews most of the time so having a bad score is kinda oof.
