For me, clicking on Settings goes from here to that error screen. That's exactly what is happening for me.

you shouldn't be seeing that main menu screen when you start the new version, did you install it over the old one? since the format changed you need to uninstall the old one and fresh install this version. it could also be happening if you're using the gallery unlocker from the front page of the site, there's already a gallery unlocker in the game now.

Why would you block the skip button?

Trying to think of a logical explanation about why someone would go out of their way to disable skipping in a Renpy game. And failing.

If you don't use the app, hint says to go to kitchen but kitchen is always empty and she has disappeared from the game.

Whenever their isn't a dialogue box on screen only auto will progress the scene.

At this point, you also need to use AUTO, or was it intended that way .

It's a bug, I'll be fixing both the skip and auto functions shortly and the kitchen bug as well (for some reason it triggers when you go to the bathroom instead). The intention wasn't to disable the skip or auto buttons, I added adjustable sliders to allow the option to adjust the auto forward speed and the skip time. Currently the 'skip time' is labeled as 'skip speed' in the settings instead, so for the text to skip faster you actually have to turn the slider down, not up. Sorry for this confusing update, I'll fix the issues mentioned and update the links accordingly and on June 6th I'll release a small hotfix update along with the gallery option for the new format.

I'll contact them to remove the gallery unlocker from the OP since is already included, but assuming or blaming the current gallery unlocker for the errors is a mistake. The current error is on your part:

that error comes from your code not mine, and this was tested on a fresh install with all saves deleted and a fresh copy of the game

Yeah, the character of the mother on the way of NTR looks strange, to put it mildly, like the Korean canon of the child of . The developer is apparently very confident in his abilities since he started introducing a bunch of unnecessary extraneous characters, but as they say, he knows better.
In general, the planned remake is very chic and if there was a symbiosis with the old version (the best from the old version is used in the new campaign) it would be very wonderful. But for now it turned out that someone is in the forest, someone for firewood, which does not lead to anything good. But this is only my opinion, not claiming to be the truth. The developer is great, many thanks to him . His idea has already found imitators among other creative people. I hope that his search will lead to a brilliant result and will please the majority, I wish him health and good luck . Enjoy the game to everyone .
