I'm probably going to have to shelve this until some of the bugs are worked out.
As for my interim review, there are some games that don't respect the player's time. This game goes way past that are actively disrespects the players time. I was hoping it would get better as I went along, but seeing as how a lot of the requirements for proceeding are tied to money, a missed + sign in the code causing you to lose all your money in multiple places is unforgivable. Joke achievements that can cause you to spend an hour trying to make them pop, because they don't pop until the next day. Inscrutable mechanics that cause you to have no clear path forward to achieve your goals. Hey, you want to lift that massive boulder? No problem, just max your strength out? Oh, that DOESN'T do it? Too bad, TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR, and there is no explanation on what you can do differently!
Basically, this was an alpha build released as a finished build, probably because the game is so grindy that the beta testers just couldn't be arsed to play through it.
