I got the game to work by renaming the main folder, no problem. Game starts fine, no problem. But the heroine's name is just a series of boxes. I go to her room to rename her, and all the character options are just boxes. I don't know how to rename her to something I can read. Any help?

To be fair, it worked really well lol. Well enough to warrant an anime adaptation, a high quality OVA and a top-tier abridged series on top of that so commercially speaking, it was. Unless you're referring to Castlevania's Alucard, in which case, then yeah, I don't know.

Though if you really want to be semantic about it, America came up with the whole 'reversing Dracula's name' thing first in the 1967 film, Dr Terror's Gallery of Horrors.

-The memory museum is not the usual gallery, it just gives you hints on how to get events, each time you unlock an event
you will get a special memory item, use that item to watch the event again.

Like the "Our First Night" or the "Shaving & Bathing" ones, for instance.

Whoever did first did that as a ref. It comes from Le Fanu's "Carmilla " novel, the gal vampire there has an habit of rearranging her name letters when creating a new name, Mircalla, etc.

They put all that info on the titles complement because nobody is clicking to see the description, dlsite has a thousand of works. It is the same rule of "put all the relevant info in the email/commit header". It is easier to search if your pub engine lack relevant tags, etc.
Honestly, it would be interesting if people did that more around here. Very few devs/writers pull clever titles.
Translator did a good job on translating the title.
