I don't know why, but recently purposeful cheating impregnation with concealing the true father has been interesting to me. I think it's more the power fantasy of being the real father than anything else.
Not sure if this poll is mostly trolls or an actual representation of the community, but if it is accurate, it makes me feel a bit better. I do not like NTR. I am not personally interested in fetishes like swinging, cheating, sharing etc. I am 100% okay if it is avoidable and can even get on board with Netori if it written well. In fact, cheating and sharing can be fine if written well. I often find the writing is at fault if cheating/sharing evokes humiliation or jealousy (even when it is meant not to).
However, the reason this poll is comforting to me is because it kind of justifies how I operate on this site as predominately a lurker. I end up not posting the majority of the messages I type out for this site. This is because I usually get attacked for pointing out where a game falls short of my preferences. I do this not because I want the game to change or to attack the dev, but to essentially inform/warn others of what to expect. Drama ensues almost every time. So, whenever I type out my opinion, I remember that I will probably get attacked or shit on by an NTR lover and I delete what I've typed out to avoid the headache.
That being said, I have lurked a lot, and I know for a fact that many of the members who enjoy NTR or NTR-adjacent content are good and decent people/posters. Its just the loud minority that have turned me off of participating over the years.

Do not like netorare content mostly because the MC being comically dense is more or less a staple. It doesn't have to be, but at this point I must assume it's just an easier, therefore lazier way to write this type of story. -

I would be in favor of removing netorase from the overview. We have our own word for that: cuckold. This is a form of sharing. Whereas all other forms are essentially cheating. And that doesn't really fit under one hat, because they are two completely different contents.

Personally it depends on the way the NTR content is done in the game, basically I would divide it in 3 levels:
-Chill level: An example would be a game in which we have a futanari sister that following some of the tropes have some lust problems which may or may not end up having her have sex with your girlfriend or even asking for permission from you to fuck her. No hard feelings or hate involved.
-Normal level: As an example I would put here Leane of legitimate crown, NTR can happen but it isn't the end of the world for the MC, girls can be rescued/recovered, the NTR tends to be something negative but that you can solve.
-Hardcore level: It's when you play as a literal oblivious loser, either the NTR happens without the MC noticing or he is too much of a simp to actually do something.
I can play the chill level without issue no matter the circunstances, the normal level only if it's gameplay related and the MC can solve it, hardcore level is a clear no.

I'm not a fan of netorare by any means and I also don't mind it being avoidable, my issues come in when the the creator attempts to use it as a threat in the writing for the main player.
Nothing entirely wrong with this, but many times it's overdone and pretty much includes light-NTR or cheating in the story for unavoidable sections.
It's a cheap way to get strong emotions out of the player and I consider a large portion of it is not very well written because it usually requires the MC to play dumb while their love interest is getting felt up by another man.
Creators will then proceed to promote their games with avoidable NTR when in reality that's not true.... And if you try to point this out you'll be called "entitled" or "sensitive". That's just the way it is unfortunately
As long as you'd agree that this flavor of ntr stuff is 100% different from actions deliberately undertaken by the mc, e.g. "I want you to go over and flirt with that guy, LI", then I'd concede there is an element of deception/marketing when creators declare their game one way or another.I have a similar view to yours....

The issue with calling people sensitive or entitled comes when they refer to my example as yours. If they have no choice in the matter, that's bad. But if they're offended by the very presence of a choice as an option being displayed (and this does happen), then I have no sympathy for that.
