Yeah... indeed a douche move.

But I really like this game. I was just glad to know that we will maybe sometime see some more content.

But if we are gonna discuss what is unfair, I think it's a joke that this game only earns 1000USD, and 'Milky' City 30k.

His last post on Patreon was on October the 1st. with a short message about the enemy difficulty. The post before that was in July. Not everyone's gonna be glued to Discord. Rather it's a wonder he even makes 1k a month without anything to show for it this year. The 30k from Milfy City is merely an estimate and sadly a low one at that (there is no 5$ tier and the 1$ tier doesn't give access to the game). A sad display of human gullibility, but thankfully it's not the norm.

Btw, I think that if patreon had better search mechanisms this would be prevented. Because people would be more likely to find better developers, instead of backing lazy/incompetent ones. We can't fix humanity, but we can fix our tools.

We'd probably just get more excuses, with the same lack of effort.

The whole idea is bungled. Imagine if this wasn't porn, but painting fences. A whole slew of idiots, who has no interest in painting fences and who has very little knowledge in the field. Suddenly decides to market themselves as painters.
Their delusional sycophants singing to the tune of: "it's their first fence, we shouldn't be too harsh" and "painting fences is difficult". Disgusting pieces of shit painters who cries foul, as they didn't get the financial support they "wished" for, while also being shitty painters and doing little in the way of work. They then give the middle finger to everyone else who supported them and leave then job barely started. All too many who do enjoy financial success does much the same, instead even bigger idiots keep giving them money for some reason. "Oooh I couldn't paint the fence, as I didn't feel inspired" and such wet farts.

Don't get me wrong. There are still some people on Patreon who can and do "paint" very well. People well worth supporting and as long as they are held accountable for their work within reason it's all fine. Their actual work—not their ideas or empty promises.

Hmm, I have now seen a lot of complaints on this game and how scuffed the dev of this game was for the past days now. I'm starting to 'assume' that the dev was afraid to admit that he already fucked up the code since the start (the new ragdoll feature that was supposed to be in a dreamworld), and didn't want to tell anyone that he has to go back to square one to remake the game's code, as the dev will get even more fire on his ass from his if he ever dare to say that "I fucked up the code and wants to go back to sqaure one" thing bullshit so he better play it 'safe', (so as I hope it to be).

And also, the goddamn game isn't gonna fix itself by just mere 'bugfixes' and constant updates since it's literally buggy af as I would recommend for the dev to turn the goddamn island into a much more smaller and compact version, i'm tired of going around the empty-ass island just to find some album pictures and a broken dialogue system.

But hey, at least the game isn't in "Abandoned" state right now so I am still a bit optimistic on this, just a bit. As much as I hope that the dev will randomly pops out with another update or somethin, as i'm really tired of playing the same goddamn version all over again. And I have already deleted the entire current version of the game months ago as i'm ready to start all over again for the new update to come by.

I hope ya'll don't get the wrong idea that I am not supporting the dev's side on this stuff, as i'm just being optimistic with his 'hiatus' thing.

if you just started/reinstalled, that's because you have to make your save first (after going to sleep in the tent day 1) and then overwrite it with the dlded one.

Didn't work for me.
Have the game unpacked and put it in the saves file and would only let me pick new game instead of load.

The way you unlock H scenes is strange even with the walkthrough.

First playthrough i guess i unlocked a few of them by dumb luck and that was without the guide.

Haven't been able to unlock any after starting new game and following the guide.

Yea... the island part is quite bad, the Dreamworld is much better. I managed to find a save game here in this thread and it worked perfectly for me. If you cant make any of the savegames work, use save editors and ingame cheats to make your life easier

Per the dev log from yesterday, 30 January 2021:

"[DevLog] Quick Update - Optimization!

Hello Everyone!
Sorry! Because of some problems in my life it affected the progress of the new build, but now that everything is fine again, I was able to update more often on progress.
Dungeon 3 was really a new challenge for me as it is larger and more complicated than the dungeons that came out before.
Dungeon 3 main contents!?

• Design areas are larger and more detailed.
• Unlike the previous 2 dungeons you just need to go from point A to B to complete. In new dungeon you need to go back and forth through the areas many times to solve puzzles and unlock to other areas, more puzzles.
• Dungeon 3 will have more H scenes, you can H with female enemies after they are defeated.
• Separate underwater weapon system.
• New monster enemies.

More work, bigger dungeon so I'm having optimization problems. I have found a fix but it is taking more time, now I'm fixing each of the things in the new dungeon to make it work better. Really sorry for longer
I will work higher performance to make up for last year! New updates will be coming soon!"

The dev mentioned that there's been some life problems recently that they have had to deal with. They elaborated more in a comment under a post from a few weeks ago, mentioning that they had to be hospitalized again this month due to various issues (IIRC they mentioned before they have a heart condition/disease, so that might be the causative factor). So, trying to get the optimization done of a new area that's claimed to be many times larger than any of the previous content drops, doing it by themselves, and in addition to the persistent health problems has caused a lot of issues.

From what I've seen, most patrons are understanding. However, there are still calls for the dev to be more vocal and transparent with what's going on, considering they have only been providing minor updates every couple weeks.

Anyways, I'll be sure to share the new build whenever it comes available, unless someone else who's still also a supporter beats me to it. Hopefully soon.
