At least he is still posting progress reports at all, this game has been so dead for so long. Haven't really kept up with any of the progress, but I can only imagine he's got an entirely new game at this point. Let's see if he keeps his word for a new build in January.

I never bothered to update it for the dream world, I thought it was a really poor decision on the dev's part. It's basically a whole separate game nested inside of the main game. I'm hopeful that my guide will become completely irrelevant once the new build is finally released. The original game has it's charm, but it is old and messy. Here's to hoping for a total rewrite.

Understandable, and ty for making the walkthrough, im just sad the game hasnt been updated in so long.
Yeah, Dream World felt more like a beta test that became a "feature" than... an actual feature of the game.
But I do worry on how much changes there will actually be for what is already in the game ATM. I know the island is getting remodeled, and of course the addition of the 3rd dungeon and ANOTHER game in a game... But there hasn't been much discussed about the first 2 dungeons. Surely the level design and enemy mechanics would be revamped by this time
(I've had some DM discussions with the guy, and it SEEMS like there would be changes made to the dungeons as well as the already existing Monster Girls... either that or I'm misinterpreting the answers and he meant AFTER 0.8.6 comes out will the dungeons be updated)...
But until the update releases around this month (highly doubting it based on his past records), we'll just have to wait and see

At least the UI looks pretty good. Also that looks like a very futurey and high tech game, very different from the current game. It will be interesting to see what comes of it and how any of the current game will come into play in the new one, if it even does it all.

I saw the last update time of this game and a lot of complaints on the comments and i know why he did not update the game. Because he as 1773 supporters despite not releasing a single playable version of this game since 5 years. Why would he do anything at all while there are stupid people like this?
One of Patreon's recent updates did something rather stupid and misleading with the member count. The number displayed is the "total" member count, which includes people who no longer support the project.
Check their "about" tab and you should see the actual amount of people "supporting" in the "paid members" stat at the bottom. Of course with the "pay if you stay" system that this developer goes by, there may be much less supporters (just have to wait until February hits)
Somehow despite having an ever dwindling supporter base, he still hasn't managed to get a release out at all.
