First day I've played this game I thought it had a big potential on its own genre. Unfortunately, after all that time with no update days I was conceiving time to time what was happened to that game for years. It's very good to see you back pal!

The new download is for a "test build" of an upcoming new mode for v0.86, which is currently barebones and prone to certain bugs.

I wrote a summary of what the test build offers, but some later updates made it outdated and I haven't bothered fixing it

Speaking of: the developer did state that after the next "update" or so for the test build, he'll finally get back to updating the rest of the game.

Literally no way of knowing with this dev. Whatever date they do give could be months or years off from reality. This dev is so unreliable with the info they give that if they told me the sky was blue, I would question it at this point, lol.

All I know is they seem to want to flesh out the roguelite mode more before releasing the full version. We at least have the shopkeeper and the companion gacha/system to come first. He said Shopkeeper was "Soon" about half a year ago, but was more specific with saying the companion banner would be next update. Maybe they will both be in it, dunno.

It's not exactly this specific dev, but more solo dev meets reality of actual game design.

Like, most "games" on here, aren't games.

TLDNR: dev kept adding content/systems you really need a team for, spreading themselves a bit too thin, for regularly releases every few months.

From skimming their patreon, it does look promising, but given their solo dev, and I assume they have a day job, it'll be a while.

Still fun to check in on when it does get an update though.
