No it's all about racing, ex wife and horny students.
Only inasmuch as the MC is trying to make money for medical care for his comatose daughter, and has to interact with his angry ex in the process. It looks like you might be able to make up with her eventually too. So I guess the answer is kinda, sorta, maybe.
Sure its the Jake, Allison, Lily story, everyone else is just distraction.

You're actually able to patch things up by quite a lot, especially if you get the max amount of relationship points that you can. The ex-wife ends up being actually not just civil but also pretty intimate. What's more is that the game makes you feel afraid if the ex-wife is possibly going to be out with a friend and hooking up with someone. Obviously that's likely not going to happen, but it plays on your (and the PC's) feelings. While it's not confirmed, I do think it's practically a sure thing that it will be possible to revive a romantic relationship with her.

I don't know you've played Being a DIK before, but if so you should think them as DIK points.
+1 Personality points: CHICK points

As of Act I, they're not as important as they're in Being a DIK. Girls love you based on the choices you make in the story, not your personality points.
There's just one time that those personality points mean something and it's only for Jasmine. If you have 2 or less CHICK points, you get +1 relationship point (Jasmine) after the drag race in the first episode. So... we can definitely say Jasmine prefers badboys.
Although nothing is official at the moment (except Jasmine), I think girls' choices for Jake as follows:
- Jasmine, Kris, Natalya, Alexa, and Patricia like badboys (DIK)
- Allison, Kalani, Veronica, Maggie, and Tiana like goodboys (CHICK)
Don't get me wrong, though. You can play the girls' paths any way you want. These are just my personal observations.

Logically speaking, they're most likely gonna determine whether the MC saves his daughter or not and what the rest of the characters think of him and how they treat him.
You can use the walkthrough for anything else that's not clear storywise or keep a separate yolo save for the lolz and hope for the best, like I do.

Finished a few runs and this is still one of the best 3dgc games in terms of eroticism of the scenes and sexual tension between characters.
With that being said, I have to ask did the CW Writing Room work on this update?
I don't mind when its one character doing it even if I disagree with their dogma, since at least it makes them unique, but when its the entire cast doing it it stops being the characters speaking and it becomes the author speaking and frankly this update had the subtlety of current day tv shows/movies.
Jasmine, Natalya, Kris & Alexa, Vanessa, Camille and even Allison eventually all push the same talking points this episode, its so on the nose that I half way expected Nate to do the meme to the MC
, or have MC break the 4th wall, turn to the camera and give a speech on feminism and slut shaming
Speaking of, the best joke in the last 20 years has to be women acting like sluts to spite the patriarchy and that it's empowerment, ladies, the only thing you are in spite of is yourself and your families, current and future. I bet it was a man that gaslight them into that ridiculous belief.
tl, dr guys bad, slut woman good
I initially wanted to have screenshots with examples, but by the time I finished the episode there were like entire fucking scenes dedicated to that
So, my hope for the future is now that they got it out of their systems, less preaching and more MC and Allison finally getting somewhere. Thanks!

He has already canonically cheated on her. Purity means nothing.
We need an all virgin patch including the MC! No complains about girls having sex already. No issues with a non existing daughter, no cheating on the wife, it would be perfect. Everyone loves everyone and stays virgin. Please support my request for an all virgin patch, so we can focus on the racing aspect of the game.
