In my experience that's a really unrealistic scenario and more like plot for a porn movie
Never in my 40+ life have I experienced or heard of such teasing/almost sex scenarios. Not even in softcore movies, let alone porn. The only thing that kind of transposes into real life has to do with anal sex. And the reticence didn't come from being against the idea. It had to do only with the size. That could be worked out in later meetings (slow burn, or corruption, if that's your thing). But stuff like inserting only the head of the penis in one meeting, half of it in a later one and its entirety only after love declarations were thrown is out of this world.
Never heard of fingering a pussy only to be told to consolidate the relationship to be able to take it further. What's more important is that, for me, such a scenario isn't instilling a sense of purity at all. I could understand stopping things after a kiss or even breast fondling, but seeing my cock and afterwards sending me home with the promise of a later treat would be insulting. I would cease any sexual innuendo with that person for the rest of my life.
To conclude, for me, such scenarios would break the immersion in a violent manner.
Of course, I'll go with whatever the dev decides. Just my two cents, without any intention to offend.

I think I get your point. As far as I'm concerned, they may have 20 dates before any intimacy takes place. They could kiss, fondle in public etc. I'm a fan of slow burn.
It may be a cultural difference: masturbating the partner, cunnilingus, 69, penis rubbing are not "building" intimacy, but are an integral part of it.

The sex part shouldn't be made interesting by using the gradual tropes. It isn't necessary. Sucking MC's cock under a table in a full restaurant while the MC talks on the phone with his life partner is neither great teasing nor great lewd in my book. It's kindergarden.
You could have first time sex with a still reluctant partner that is confortable only with classic positions that don't ruin her ovaries, a dominant/submissive one, one that likes to talk or another that doesn't want to hear a fly. One that gets nervous or timid when she hears the spurting sounds, one that laughs after she farts. One that scratches your back while you two sweat like pigs, another other that turns her head and closes her eyes as soon as a sweat drop toches her face. As you may notice, not all of my suggestions are product of my imagination.
No matter what, I'm sure this game will bring both of us joy, as it is clearly something different already.

But to expand, without going into spoilers, Joshua (the writer for Race of Life) went big on EP2 and it shows.
Just one scene (with its multiple paths) in EP2 is larger than most pilot episodes around here, but it's not there to fluff up the word count. All decisions made in EP1 have an impact on what (and with whom) happens in EP2 with major focus on key characters.
And no, it's not about "getting max points", it's about committing to those LIs that you "vibe with". This update was a massive undertaking for everyone involved and I hope that people find something they like in there ^^

The game is scheduled for release on Steam in the first half of 2024. Act I will contain Episode 1, 2, and 3 (parts I and II). On Patreon, we will split Episode 3 into 2 parts - thanks to this, you'll be able to play it sooner, without waiting for the whole Episode 3.
The final release of Act I on Steam will happen about a month after the release of Episode 3 part II on Patreon. Each subsequent Act released on Steam will contain 3 Episodes so for example, Act II will most likely include Episodes 4, 5, and 6.
