Interesting how later at the park Jake says none of that. When Allie says she was ignored and left alone, he admits he left her to run the family, work, and marriage all on her. He doesn't say anything about her not being there.

Story consistency issue or change of heart?

The park conversation (on the reconciliatory path) is a lot more relaxed and casual, so perhaps without tempers flaring we get to see a more 'realistic' story of what happened?

V wasn't the person that MC hooked up with that caused the marriage to fall apart. It was a different person, a co-worker, at the company both the MC and Allie worked at. He ended up leaving the company, as part of the fallout if I recall.

V came along after that, as far as we know she's only worked at the University.

Yeah, I wasn't really meaning to refer to that part of your comment. But, looking back at it, I see it sounds that way... You are correct, of course. I was just still in the mindset of having to choose how to treat a bitter, bitchy ex-wife while thinking about a handful of adoring hot students, while already dating a gorgeous, sophisticated goddess, while role playing as an emotionally challenged man-child... Which is telling. So she doesn't actually try to deny this accusation. He was wrong for cheating...I've never said it wasn't wrong...but there was a reason. If you're ignored at home..hate the atmosphere...I've also worked longer and longer as I'd rather be there instead of beeing at home (admittedly, no kids for me to worry about).

And as i've said before in this thread (a long time ago) I do really wonder if people are being brutally honest (with themseves)...if their wife ignored them and gave them no affection for years....

Exactly what they would do (especially if there was someone on-tap wanting them)....because I know the truth even if most will never admit to themselves. (and no, I've never cheated or had an affair for the record, I did leave her first).

I mean when questioned, Allie states that their marriage wasn't working and she wasn't happy. It sounds like the marriage was dead and the infidelity was just the final nail.

How do we know he didn't and was brushed off...or ignored? There's only so many times you try to discuss something, get met with nothing and...just start to stop bothering....

Its very simple, they didnt had sex because they didnt had a working relationship. And Jake - instead of trying to fix his relationship with Allie or divorce her - just did nothing and tried to avoid the confrontation like a coward. Its not surprising to not have sex when you ingore your wife and hide yourself in the garage.

If your relationships sucks you either have to work on it or break up, Jake just did nothing and than he cheated.

Edit: Like even if we say that magically somehow all their problems and lacking intimacy (even tho allie seems to be craving sex nowadays) are only allisons fault for no reason. The right thing is still to find a solution even if thats a divorce and not to ignore everything and go cheating.

No you're not. I'm the same. There's only 3 AVN I play with the audio on. At almost 700 AVN's in...I cannot think of a single one that was improved by 'sexy audio'...

It depends on the sex sounds , I don't like hearing the moaning and grunts but I do like other sex sounds like hearing sounds from Jas sucking the MC's dick for example. As I do think it does add a level of immersion to the sex scene.

I agree but, that is usually very poorly done. I can think of two AVN's where it is done well and matches the video closely enough to be immersive... Jus' Sayin' I enjoy music that matches the mood of the story scene much more.

I can do without sex sounds, most of the time they are meh at best, but good music I like, so I keep that on. Again, if it's actually good. Some AVNs really deliver on that. Some are hit and miss. But I will give them a shot before rendering judgement.

I don't like Veronica very much at all and not doing a path for her, but I love how everyone puts this on her. If Jas didn't start it and intentionally try to goad her like a 10 year old, V doesn't carry on. Of course, V should have been more mature and ignored it (and it was unprofessional), but she got threatened by the sexy student who was throwing herself at her man in front of her while she can't get him to commit. Of course the marriage falling apart is probably on both of them, thats how its usually is.

Yet it seemed like allie went for the confrontation to adress their problems while Jake ducked away, closed his eyes and just prayed for divine intervention. And i dont know, maybe im oldschool but hes the man, take care of your fucking relationship or end it when your wife seems unable to divorce you/break up. So i would at least give it a 60/40 towards allie but it doesnt really matter.

Its okay to not work anymore after a time in a relationship but even than its just not okay to cheat before ending it.

Yeah the hatefuck is awesome, i just dont like the aftermath at all. I will never understand people claiming allie is prude when shes obviously a wildcat with her man lol. The wedding night extra scene was hot too

Doesn't 'Being a DIK' or 'College Kings' let you use supported toys? Don't own any and never used it, but that's a whole new level of immersion.
