I think the Dev dropped the ball with Maggie she was my favorite till her first scene. I'm not into femdom at all. To me Maggie is like eatting my favorite food and half way through eatting it i find a bug in it, no matter what the rest of it tastes like you don't want to finish it because you keep thinking about that bug you found. Dev should go back and either remove it or make it avoidable.
The massage? That already is avoidable.

What would be wrong with reigniting their original passion, but incorporating the growth they have had since separating? Pretty sure it's mentioned they used to be great together, life or work just ground them down and they lost the spark.

Lily's accident, while tragic, seems to have been the catalyst that forced MC to become the man Allie always wanted him to be. He's driven, has a goal and they're both communicating. After the dinner at Allie's, we find out she still misses him and she still wears the engagement ring.

If the battery is a success, they will be set for life. Free from having to work, I don't see MC not committing time to being a great dad and a better partner.
And as we are now in control of the MC, we should have the player agency to ensure that he does (if you take the Allie route of course).

More than a lost spark, it seems that after Lily's birth they started to behave as they thought they should behave; Fucking their couple dynamics.

I've never taken the hate route, but it seems very much like there's two different marriage stories. If you take the reconciliatory route then the conversations vary drastically. I didn't include some of the first scenes in the previous snip (https://f95zone.to/threads/race-of-life-ep-3-2-extra-underground-studio.130096/post-15654027), as it wasn't part of the original conversation but is more relevant here.

And then another scene when they are driving to the WUI, it he has no reply to her comments

Then on the dinner date with Allie, he admits to letting them down and that he won't anymore.

Definitely makes it harder to discuss a topic where it seems on the Hate route, it's Allie's fault and on the Reconciliatory route (for lack of better name), it's MC's fault.

I mean both can be true.

At one point in time they were great together, they got married and then the love waned, they stopped communicating and MC FAFO.

I'm sure that's likely what happened, and I don't disagree. Perhaps, my point was more that one side takes more responsibility for the failings depending on the path you take. That skews things a lot:
  • MC takes the fault, blame, and even admits to it on the reconciliatory route.
  • Allie takes the blame and doesn't deny it on the hate route.
As I never took the hate route, I had a very one-sided perspective based on what the MC said and admitted to. Whereas others that took only the Hate route, would have the opposite because of what was said there. And neither really reconciles fully. Sure they were both at fault, but each takes the blame very differently. Just makes it a bit more confusing to discuss as now you have to disclaim a perspective based on what route was taken.

I think that was part of what led to some of the early heated exchanges because we were looking at it from very different story angles.

You should play the hate route up until the dinner, you don't need to go beyond. They shout a lot of things at each other while tearing each others clothes. :sneaky:

I think both routes ascribe blame to both, but MC does shoulder most of the blame as he took the extra steps to sleep with another woman.

I'm playing the "good" route at the moment and expecting that playing the "hate" route to get up to date will just take a minute of skipping, as I'm imagining there will be no difference in the content (will report back if there is though).

For the "fault" differences between the two paths, I don't think there's any different in the history of it, it's only in the conversation and who is willing or unwilling to shoulder the blame. Or alternatively, who is willing or unwilling to stop blaming the other out of spite. At the end of the day, both are to blame for the relationship falling apart, but only one is to blame for the cheating.

Yeah I've told myself that a few times. My problem is I'm too nice of a person and have a really hard time being mean/evil, even to made up 1s and 0s. :ROFLMAO: I've been in the military and know violence, hate, and anger, but I still have a hard time doing it to another "person", real or made up. I know I'm probably crazy but I like to think I'm ok with it.:cautious:

Maybe I'll just suck it up and try it.

The cuckquean route for Veronica. I'm just starting this game.
I haven't played that path yet, but previous posts said on your Veronica love route you need to cheat on her with Vanessa (the waitress at the conference hotel). I believe you can also do the Jasmine/Natalya sauna scene instead, but I guess that depends on how you're managing your saves. If you're just starting up, it might take you a while to get to that point, but it's in the latest update (3.2).

I've been hearing talk about her going to Canada. I assume if she goes there, that route is done?

If she puts you on a break she goes to visit family in Canada yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if she comes back, unless she resigns her position at the University. From my reading, she's just going there to 'refocus' herself after breaking up with you.

Yeah, if you want to be on her route the options to avoid her going to Canada should be pretty obvious though. She'll only do that if you ignore her/tell her you don't see a future together, etc.

Meanwhile, at the conference...

You know, I reckon he could probably get away with that one
