I do like veronica tbh. She isnt as good as allison or maggie(though that massage scene was just out of character) and jasmine but she is nice.

I feel like she suffers the Jill syndrome (at least to me). The character is realistically fucking awesome and would be beyond perfect IRL, ticks every goddamn box there is but it doesn't bring the spice and drama factor that you'd look for in a game IG. We don't get sparks interacting with her. Idk. Could be just me.
Tbf, at this point in RoL, there is very little investment to do to get LIs. They throw themselves at you by default and there's very little incentive to be a jackass to anyone.

I honestly like those kinds of characters, tbh. Even more so if we have someone like Jasmine/Sage that represents the more crazy and wild type of LI. It's why I like Veronica and Maggie, they're a lot more of the nurturing and loving type of character.
Everyone has their type and what they like to see in a game. I'm more into the slow burn type of LI's myself, such as Alison who is perfectly setup for that. Nothing wrong with wanting something different, everyone's looking for something different after all.

I completely agree. I guess what I'm tryna say is that in my mind, paths become fun with the implications rather than how the LI is portrayed.
Like I'd probably go for the Veronica path if it rewarded me with some interesting drama exclusive to her character (Kinda like Lily or Quinn in BaDIK, Jasmine for RoL) plus you can kinda zigzag between Jas and Allie meanwhile Veronica straight up fucks off early.
Allison reigns supreme tho

Yeah, I feel like the ones with the best character development or story currently are (in no particular order) Alison, Veronica and Jasmine. I wish Nat & Maggie got more. Maggie was mostly an afterthought in 3.1 and 3.2 parts of the third episode.

Maggie has the storyline about her mom ready to be explored way more in Act 2 and she should 100% be the leading character there. Lily might wake up soon but that doesn't mean all the trouble is done with.

My (unmodded) saves from the end of 3.1 don't work on 1.02. When I load they give me the end of end of episode 3.2 screen and rolling back takes me to a black screen with no way to roll back further. Is there any way to unfuck this? No way in hell am I playing through 6 paths again

There was Renp'y engine and code changes iirc....this was known well in advance of hitting Steam. There was also an annoying bug on the phone depending on whan your saves were last made.
It is what it is....it really doesn't take that long to redo a save if skipping through using TAB.

In game? From the main menu, if you click on "Credits", it will tell you the current version number.
You have to be there on your own, which means you don't call Allie to go with you (probably because you're on the Allie Bad path and have burnt your bridges with her).

Not required. Neutral is perfectly fine (which is the path most likely on if stayed behind the very first time to chat and not take Allie home to gain the first 2 points with her).
