I think we're in the minority here Def.I am not sure if there is that scene if MC was cold towards her but I played the nice guy path and I think it felt there was good enough built up tbh. Even after restaurant scene was good, though she is feeling sad prevented it. So, it was not out of place for me or how it happened out of character for her. Though, I do understand why you guys feel that way.
Ah, now I get it. You need to divide that scene into 2 pieces. Bj part and tying part. Tying part comes from her vulnerability and fear of men. She is broken and unless she has the feeling she is secure, she is not going to do anything. Other part was bj, their relationship reached to that point in my opinion. Merging these two was pure coincidence though. She has seen MC's dick, she has the opportunity to satisfy her curiosity. So it was spur of a moment thing. On top of that, she is totally into MC and MC almost died for her just before that scene. If MC tease her about it afterwards, she becomes her kinda prudish, conservative persona and stops MC.
I really don't see a problem with it but it just my opinion.
I didn't like it as part of the Maggie romancing (and definitely hope that femdom is not the constant), but I get this one.
Try not to think of it as femdom and porn. But Maggie finding a way that she feels safe to take the relationship to the next level.

yeah once I read some post I agree with this take and makes a whole lot of sense. However I still have the issue of it feeling like it came out of no where with not enough build up and felt really random to me. Which is why I say it feels more like a porno scene. If there was a bit of build up before the scene it wouldnt have that porn feel to me, but that might just be me and thinking there wasn't enough build up and it feeling real random that it came out of nowhere.

I didn't find the Maggie scene all that weird except for it being a little contrived. If she slept in his bed previously, you saw the fantasy she had about him being helpless in bed while she was in control. That combined with her specific vulnerabilities, I can completely justify her being more femdom oriented in intimate scenes. I think if her route continues, she'll eventually get more comfortable with him and it'll either tone down or ramp up based on player choice.
