I think you're looking at it backwards. You gotta read the text where they talk about it.
Things like how Allison won a wet T-shirt contest in Cancun, and how that version of Allison makes sense to Jasmine.
So it's not that Allison's against being topless and Jasmine convinces her otherwise, it's that Allison was always a little more daring, but after having a kid and losing her marriage, she's not as confident any more.
It's not Allison doing something she doesn't want to do, it's Allison getting back to her old self before she lost everything.

I usually share your opinions mostly but this time i disagree. I think the development of the MC/Allie relationship is completly fine, we have to consider that just a few days passed at all since they really started to reconnect.
Allison being already asleep didnt really mattered imo in this case as both have already confirmed that they feel/felt like that, to other people and even to each other (at the ball for example), it was more about the MC realising it himself.
And i dont consider allison being aroused around the MC as character regression, she wasnt just eager for his cock, she is and was eager to share all these things together. Being the one who sits up front in deliah, being the one waking up in his arms and yeah of course being the one having sex with him. Its all part of the same thing: A life together.
Its kinda obvious that she never stopped wanting this and felt forced to divorce the MC, i think the possibility of the two of them breaking up simply never crossed her mind even when their relationship was bad.
And really the evening/night just after you had this future-deciding conference where you have been standing and talking all day long, isnt really the best time to have a deep emotional conversation about the past and future.
I think when being back home and esp after receiving the good information about lily's health is a way better opportunity for that.
Its kind of the same like my answer to the first point but he got this money like 40 hours or something ago and had to prepare for the conference, there just wasnt really enough time (or at least its plausible that there may have not been time).I'm also still really confused by the MC lucking into a quarter million dollars at the end of the last update. Shouldn't that be a huge deal? Instead, he apparently tosses the money in a duffle bag and forgets about it. I guess the idea is that he needs even more money eventually so the business trip still has to be his top priority, but it's really weird that he didn't at least drop a big chunk of money off with Kalani before leaving. And with Lily healing well at the end of the update, it's not clear how much longer the treatments need to continue. The whole thing feels really incongruous IMHO.
I don't want to come off too negatively since I still like the game and enjoyed playing the update, but I felt like it ended on a very flat note. Maybe things would feel more cohesive if I played more of the other content?
tl;dr Lots of awesome bits that don't fit well into a larger tapestry, but my experience may not be the best yardstick.
I think this will feels less confusing after the next episode is released and were playing it in one go.
Something else i not really noticed since i did a new playthrough just now, Allison started to wear her wedding ring again since the ball if the mc takes her with him which is kinda funny.

If I had 1 euro for each time I saw real people go out of character in my nearly 50 yo of living I would be a rich man, including myself. We are human after all and not all the time predictable, and sometimes we do it for peer pressure or just for a "what the fuck, lets do it" moment. So I'll say it is perfectly normal that happens in fiction and in an AVN, it is also what gives it some spice and character development. If after that the character personality gives a turn or 180 degrees then yes it is bad writing, must be a somewhat slow change but usually done by moments like that.

I dont get that impression, we hear a lot of storys about the fun times Allison and MC had and about allie/mc/cooper/cammie shenigans in the past. They always seemed confident and adventerous.
There is nothing slutty about sunbathing topless at a pool with barely anyone around for like 30 minutes.
Some people are really blowing this out of proportion and behaving like allison gave a stripshow to a crowd of men wtf, its just some titties.
I mean is every women at a nude beach a slut too?
And imo it was believable displayed as Allison is a confident woman but as the other poster mentioned lost the confidence about her body since the divorce or birth or both. Jasmine was just rekindling a flame, she doesnt have the means to "pressure" a confident woman like allison into anything anyway, she just helped her to do what she wanted to to anyway.
And seems like Jasmine is helping Allison to do what she wants to do anyway with the mc too, best wingwoman ever

i'll see when I get to that scene just going by a few things I read but so far it just feels like it would be out of character for me to what Allie is like now but not Allie of the past. To me it seems her confidence is shot and she comes across a little bit like a prude at times at least when around the MC. Since she hasn't accepted she still has feeling for him so tries to not look or do anything sexy or hot around him. At least that's how I see her character right now. I do agree people calling her a slut tho is overreaching nothing slutty about it. Hell I wouldn't even call Jasmine being a slut personally despite her being a little easy and showing her tits like it's nothing to the MC.

This. She is also a high profile professional in her field who deals with a lot of important people, sponsors and grants and already been embarrassed at work once. People like that do not act like thay are 18 and the people they associate with sure as hell do not want to be known for associating with people like that. What she was like and did in her past is really quite irrelevent.

AVN's kinda of changed my perspective of what I see and consider as a slut nowdays compared to when I first started playing them lol.

Maybe it's my being a fan of Jasmine talking but we don't see her flashing her tits around except to the MC. I think Natalya is right about her, Jasmine sees herself and wants to lead her life in a "businesslike" way so a defined relationship is not part of this vision of hers, even if she might want it.
