I don't disagree that she's physically attractive, I just don't understand why you Allison fans forgive so easily a lot of the shit she said and did to Jake and are too harsh when judging V for less harsher shit, who, as clingy and slightly on the cray-cray side as she might be, was there for him since day 1 and is still fully committed to helping her man succeed in his endeavor, if the player doesn't break up with her. That's all.

Her physical attractiveness aside, I admit I used to be a V fan specifically for the aforementioned reason, but this update kinda killed all the romantic interest I had in her. All the cuckquean stuff may sound in theory like a good time with looots of intimate 'socializing' and sweaty fun, but in reality, I wouldn't put it past a woman like her to snap one day cuz of all the teasing and/or ALL her absurd insecurities and give the MC the Lorena Bobbitt treatment. Big yikes on that !!

That's a huge red flag that makes the risk of fucking or, worse, impregnating her, be too high to justify the potential sacrifice of your manly pride, ffs.

The issue is, Allie was wronged by the MC, so her treatment towards him is reasonable. She softens up after she sees his efforts after Lily's accident.

The opposite is true of V. She starts off soft, then after the accident, she presses the MC on commitment while complaining they don't spend enough time together. Not like he has more pressing issues, like earning money for his comatose daughter's treatment or anything.

Bullshit aside, personally the relationship with Allison has three problems:
1) Allison is justified in her hatred for Jake, but as a player I find myself dealing with consequences that are not due to my choice (which would be a problem easily overcome if...)
2) Allison goes around calling Jake a son of a bitch in front of or without caring if Lilly is there (Bringing your children into play in the hatred against your ex is a big no no as far as I'm concerned)
3) So far either Jake takes all the blame or dumps everything on Allison, with these conditions I doubt that even if they got back together it wouldn't end up with a second divorce

I am pretty sure that Alli's fans (or some of them) constantly and repeatedly hate posting on Veronica is what triggers V-fans to begin with.
I don't check this thread that often but even I am already sick of it, so I can't really blame some people for trying to fight back.

I have the feeling you both take it a bit too serious, its usually just a bit of fun trashtalking esp with the xXwankerXx and his delusional preference for meaty thick chicks who never backtalk but its all in good fun.

I said it at another point already, imo it speaks for this avn that is has polarizing characters, no matter if someone dislikes Veronica or Allison as a LI, both are strong characters as a part of the story to invoke any kind of feelings towards them (positive or negative).

Lets be honest, most avn characters are so bland that you simply dont care.

I'm a couple of updates behind, waiting for the Steam version, but it's funny how the Allison and Veronica topic is still a hot debate. In the end, everyone has their own taste and sees things differently. While the writing can be discussed more objectively, a preference for a LI is something very personal. It makes total sense for someone who's married with kids to lean towards Allison, especially since the separation was caused by infidelity. So, there's no LI that's better than the other—just the one that resonates more with what each person values or has experienced.

2) She's overreacting. You're absolutely right. But I think it's because she thinks she is defeated. She loved him, but he cheated on her. A colleague of her beated her in the race. She couldn't keep him for herself. Such a tragedy if you ask me. I wouldn't want to be in her shoes.

3) I think both are changed because of Lily's accident. In a good way. I'm not sure they hate (!) each other anymore. Both are aware of the mistakes they made in their marriage. I dunno about Jake, but I'm sure Allie never stopped loving Jake. I mean even after the cheating stuff. So I think they'll have a very happy-ending in the end. With Lily of course.

Many of these problems will probably be resolved as the story progresses, after all we are only at chapter 3.
Maybe Allison will end up being my second as well, I don't mind her too much as a character unlike V XD

Doesn't he win like $30k from the dam race? It may not be hundreds of thousands, but it's more than nothing which will help while his battery tech is finalised.

All V dates are away from anything he can use to earn (Hike/Yoga). Even Maggie seems like a sugar mama route, with her well-to-do mom.

I disagree because even if is justified, the way the dev/author presents this is extremely annoying, I get the "drama" and nagging of a woman that was betrayed and us/me as a player, that have no choice on whatever the MC made, and worst of all she throws the blame and arguments at the most unpleasant and not appropriate moments/times.

I only see one justification for this (because again I'll say its a bad option to start a game with an Ex or current GF/Partner as potential LI's unless the game revolves mostly on those relationships), the dev wanted a reason for us the players to "hate" and justify a blame/hate Allison path, and really I usually dislike going those paths so not much interesting for me. But at same time I agree with Dr.Tsoni that the love path doesn't have much else to go and will end up in a second divorce, so not interesting to me either, any other result that the dev comes up on a reconciliation path it will seem fake to me, specially from the core MC and Allison personalities. Maybe I'm also biased because my parents were divorced even before I was a teenager .

I even think that Veronica story has more to give than Allison, but I rate those 2 LIs as the least interesting because one is an EX and the other have a relationship with the MC when the game starts. I'm not even rating their beauty or personalities in this. Just the status quo.

lol I was more joking around with ya wasn't seriously trying to start another Allie vs V War. but if you want to know why I like Allie and don't like V.

First of all it starts with how I play these games I really don't give a shit about my MC 90% of the time I only care about the characters and getting to know them I see a MC as a tool and nothing more most of the time. Then I have a very forgiving personality where alot of the shit Allie says wasn't that big of a deal to me , it's whatever. I admit I didn't like her at first but I also don't like being an asshole even if people are one first. So when I used to dislike her I decided to still be nice to Allie and over time she just got better to me.

Then there is whole characterization of Allie I find it really unique to have a LI where you need to repair a broken relationship something I wish more games would do , so i really love that about her.

Then there is one final thing and this just a me thing. I consider love path Allie ( where she is mostly nice) , hate path Allie different characters I find it quite easily to separate characters base on their path depending on the game and characters I do this with a few others. To me hate path Allie is 100% worst than V for sure but not love path.

My dislike for V is really a simple one I know it's been debated when she knows about Lilly and doesn't know to death. But that doesn't really matter to me. I just really do not like the timing of when she asked the MC for a serious relationship as if I recall correctly she asked once early one if you play her path. I'd be lying if the Lilly stuff going on in the MC's life has no part of the reason even if V does or doesn't know about it.

I just really do not like the timing of it either way if she knows or doesn't know about Lilly. As it felt like she only waited maybe a week - week 1/2 to ask a 2nd time. I might be being too harsh in disliking V over something just may not know about. Cause yeah the fault is more on the MC and not V but it's something that bothers me still and hard to get past.

I would of liked her to wait a little longer maybe 1 - 2 more weeks or at the very least give the MC an ultimatum saying she needs an answer the next time she ask , I would of accepted that and be fine with it. I probably would be more okay with it if I found her attractive but to me I don't find her physically attractive for whatever reason no idea why because I should , to me her appearance is only okay.

nah i'm not taking it serious honestly I was more just fucking around with him , I don't care if someone hates Allie and loves V, I tend to like alot of less popular characters I noticed. But I don't mind telling someone why I may or may not like a character. But im not one to debate things about characters cause it doesn't matter really people like what they like. Plus I suck at expressing my self at times so wouldn't be wise for me to debate issues about characters.
