I don't particularly care about V one way or another. I find her characterization interesting, and I also tried to cheat on her but that path doesn't seem to be coded correctly and you can't get on that route.

With that out of the way, you guys are honestly pretty cringe with your 'MC is god, bitches need to support MC or be thrown to the streets,' mentality. First of all, MC is the biggest offender of being insensitive about the fact that his daughter is in a coma. This mfker, after coming home from the hospital where he learned his daughter is in a coma that could take years to get out of and he is fucked financially, goes to the bar and starts making cringe as fuck puns with some blonde slut he just met. His attitude is completely detached from the situation he is in. He makes the occasional shout out to his daughter about how he will do everything in his power to fix things, but in reality, he is just out there having fun racing and banging chicks.

In truth, that is also glossing over much of the nuance and being overly harsh, but that's about the same level of assessment you guys are giving the girls in this game, whether it be the ex-wife or Veronica.

When that big of a tragedy happens, almost every possible action is justified. You can close the doors, curtains and cry in your home. You can go to a bar with a dear friend. You can pick a fight with your piece of shit ex husband/wife. You can bet on and race in illegal racing. You can fuck around. You can go bungee jumping. You can even go bungee jumping without the rope. These are all justified and they all have one thing in common, they won't really help. They might ease some of the burden but end result will not differ. That's why I don't hold anything against Allie, she's going through the same thing, her actions are too justified. Considering MC is almost always sure that he will make things right (sometimes even stupidly optimistic about it) I'm not surprised the bar option is the one he selected to go with.

Truth be told, going to a bar and making jokes isn't what I would've done either. But let's say that the MC is an asshole, he can't care less that his daughter just become an eggplant. That doesn't make it okay for anyone other than MC and Allie to act them any less sensitively. MC being an asshole doesn't change the events from V's perspective one bit. Still her fuckbuddy's (notice how I'm not saying "boyfriend" or husband) daughter just had an accident and went into a coma. You try to communicate with him, he rejects. You have few options here too. You can try to communicate more subtly (without harassing), you can just be there for him no need for a verbal communication, you can fuck off until he's ready to communicate with you, you can even try to goad him to get some sort of reaction for his sake not for your ulterior motive, basically anything but trying to push your own agenda on him. These are the options... if you're not a total asshole yourself. Sadly, that's the case for V. She could've done anything and I would've been ok with it, as long as I believe her intentions are pure. But she tried to force her fb into submission because she's losing him (that's the probelm, she's not losing here, MC is simply not hers to lose, few fucks and not implying anything more in any shape or form doesn't make MC her bitch). I understand she can get jealous bc every other woman in this game is better looking and flirts with mc, but that doesn't give her the right to force MC to do anything.

I probably still would've been ok if she didn't have the majority of the current content. Since there isn't anything I can do about that, bitching is my most fun option

I agree, but, You are speaking on deaf ears here. The people here have double standards. They will criticize Veronica, but not MC. I feel like you can't criticize one and not the other.

I personally like V, she isn't my fav, but I like her a lot, and I am also fine with what the Mc is doing. I just don't like how people will blame the women, but the man can do no wrong. I think you should either blame both or neither. Its ok to not like V, but to say she is worse than what the MC is doing is showing bias and wrong.

Again I like the MC and think he is a good person, so I have no problem with him or V, but the people here will criticize V and praise the Mc like he can do or has done nothing wrong, which is dumb imo.

And you got the Russian corporate espionage spy woman who is trying to get his research for some purpose. You got the ex-wife that... no, I agree that she has every right to be a cunt to MC lol.

And the script itself alludes to the fact that his divorce is just an excuse to keep Veronica at arm's length. Sure, he doesn't want to commit after just getting out of a divorce. Perfectly understandable. But depending on how you play the choices, you can really lead her on. And if you pick all the asshole options, well, MC is being an asshole to this woman. Clearly, this woman wants to be something more than a booty call, and MC knows this. Their goals don't align, and he could have ended things on a good note instead of fucking around until she breaks. But that's also asking a lot of the MC. It doesn't fall entirely on him to sort out their complicated relationship. Her breaking things off and the talk they finally have also makes sense. None of this is Veronica "forcing" or "harassing" the MC.

I sincerely feel like V's trying to take advantage of the void mc's daughter left and use this as a tool to be something more. If you're not doing everything the way she wants it, every scene you have with her is just her being manipulatively sad over the lack of ring on her finger. This may be bad writing on the devs part, I never got through the first episode in her own path, maybe she's not that bad but simply forced on player in the first episode even if you constantly reject her. When I start a new playthrough I even consciously select "LOL Boobies" to her nude pic just to cut the conversation short. Even if you're entirely respectful, reject her and jasmine the best you could, she's still a clingy little leech. That's what bothers me. If mc's daughter didn't go through an accident, I wouldn't have been bothered this much. But I feel like you have to give mc some space no matter what his response to this tragedy is.

I'm always rejecting her with every chance I get in my playthroughs. My goal isn't to make her sad or get a revenge, it's to be as far away from her as possible (except for the attempt of a cheating playthrough due to fomo). And if you reject her, she still causes bigger drama than every other character in the game combined. And that's saying a lot. A grieving mother who hates mc's guts (justifiably), a redhead homewrecker shithead, a literal fucking international spy, dictionary definiton of victim as a neighbor. And you bother mc more than all those combined.

I'm sure there are some choices where mc leads her on and her actions are kinda justified (I still thinks "sick daughter" card removes any justification agains mc at this moment) but the opposite is also true. No matter how professional you try to choose, she's still clingy as fuck. Since mc clearly doesn't apriciate it in this choices, it's harassment and forcing in my book.

I dont think you have to have a mc-centric view to dislike a LI i would even argue its the opposite. Most people who seem to strongly dislike Veronica seem to like Allison (who badmouths and attacks the MC way more than Veronica) and furthermore seem to consider the MC to be at least somewhat of an asshole for what he did in the past and still does.

Its just different preferences for different personalitys and looks, simple as that. And flaws are part of these personalitys and create better characters and the LI's better than generic wish-fullfiment cardboads, of course everyone weights these flaws differently.

And this is completly fine, nobody is meant or supposed to like every single LI presented in a story and even less in non-harem storys, thats why the player has the choice.

Whats so bad about banter over LI's, its not like we have to discuss thiiiiiiiiiis much here otherwise and usually its quite fun(ny).

I think its way stranger when people seem to be allergic or defensive about other posters making fun of LI's or disliking them, whats the big deal? I really like allison and the relationship development between the two for example as its so unique but i really couldnt give less of a fuck about other players disliking her ( i heard "nagging bitch" quite a lot )

Thats why the avn gives the player the choice to chose a desperate fatty over allison for example if it fits their (weird) tastes better

One doesn't cancel out the other, if we think about it. And she's actively involved in his potentially game-changing battery project doing all she can on her romance path to help her man succeed and become a millionaire $$$... pull another lie out of your hat for me, cuz this one isn't working.

HE cheated. If he was unhappy in his marriage, he could have separated. Instead he chose to remain married, cheat with someone they both worked with. Not only that, he then tried to conceal it and lied to his friends who believed him, which when it turned to be true, fractured Allie's friendship with Coop and Cammie.
His actions led to her losing friends and her being pitied by her colleagues, so yeah, she had every right to be pissed.

As for V, her involvement in the project boils down to formatting the documentation.

I'd imagine the last thing someone needs when their child has an accident and is in a coma, is for a casual fling to start applying pressure about committing, compounding the already stressful situation over something that could wait a few months.

A question made a "million times" already . Sauna scene have 2 variations, in both Natalya has to go to the conference. In one of the variations you are in a romantic route with Jasmine by doing the celebration sex scene with Jas in the end of the version 3.1 after the race. The other variation is if you don't enter the romantic route with Jas by not doing that same scene, don't take the "titty champagne" sip or simply don't go celebrate with her.

Edit: I actually got your missing scene on my main playthrough because in that one my "route" is in favor of Natalya, where practically the MC is a manwhore who gets into every sex scene he can including the side girls except if the scene warns me I'm locking in some other character romantic route, and since I use the multi mod and when available and updated the MrBubu pdf WT, and in the mod it warns that getting that scene after the race I enter Jasmine route , Jasmine solo is my 2nd playthrough so did that scene on that one. Yep I'm one of those weird players that his favorite LI is Natalya (I'm free as a bird until Nat decides that wants a relationship if she will ever hahaha), followed by Jasmine ofc and then the sweet Maggie leaving for last Veronica and Allison for the reasons I explained more than once before on this same thread . Except he wasn't trapped. If his wife wasn't giving him what he wanted and refused to communicate or compromise, just walk away. He had a good job, could have left his wife anytime he wanted, got his own place and sorted out co-parenting.
