In my opinion she is a spy or an intelligence officer, of some sort. She knew about the MC's project before he told her about it and slipped up about that, twice. Once in the bar when he first meets her, and again when he's over at Coop's house. She plays off her knowledge the 2nd time as "Oh, I was talking to Cooper / Camille". She slips up again in the car when she mentions "operations".

However, she also goes out of her way to help the MC secure funding and influencial contacts to help the project along. She clearly wants the project to succeed, or at least progress to a certain point. The only thing we don't know is why, and who she's working for, if anyone.

I'm going to assume the outcome of the whole thing will depend on how many points the MC has with her when the point of no return is reached. I don't think she's "evil" though, so even with an influence failure I don't think she'd completely fuck the MC over.

Of course, I could also be wrong and the whole thing could be a total red herring like you said.

This talk about Nat being a spy is a surprise to me, I didn't pick up on anything like that at all. I didn't do a new playthrough for the recent update though so now I guess I have to start over and look for the clues. I didn't really pay a ton of attention to her, its possible I might have skipped events with her if I had to choose between her or Jasmine, Maggie, or Allie (if it has to do with their daughter.)

Normally I always do a new playthrough for new releases but I was trying to avoid it with this game because I don't understand any of the racing jargon so the races & gambling is all just random choices and reloading saves. (Although now that I know about URM I can just peek at the code.)

I can't explain why I think it, it's just the overall vibe. I know I'm pretty much the only person that thinks it's all a setup and she's totally innocent (perhaps I'm giving the devs too much credit while I'm expecting an interesting & surprising twist). But I'm keen to see where it all ends up, and I won't be disappointed if I do turn out to be wrong.

As for the rest, you're basically spot on, but I'm not sure about Nat being evil, per-se. It'll all be revealed when the MC gets more done with his project I guess. I could certainly see a "She stole it!" "reveal" that basically everyone paying attention saw coming.

I'll keep her away from the battery project, even though if she is in fact a "spy" (still sus for me, way too eager about anything related to MC and his work), I'm sure she'll get her hands on it anyway sooner or later regardless of what the player does... so then he has to go all in on the racing stuff to get enough money since he won't be able to sell the project any more. If it turns out she is not involved in anything like that at least I'll have a new path to play, but not before that. I'm still saving V for a later time too, don't like her too much.

Ironically enough I’m doing the exact same thing. Though the potential cuck-queen feisty lover path has me playing the V route too since this update.

The only problem for us as the player is that we simply don’t get to experience any of that. So it feels like she’s forcing herself upon you. She invokes a “bitch wtf do you mean 6 months?! I don’t even know you!”

I’m talking purely about the first few episodes. Not the last one.

For example, speaking as someone who never, EVER picks the "landlady" in (totally not) incest games, I would never have picked her to begin with. And now I have to end up feeling guilty about dumping her, because despite everything, including her future ownership of at least a dozen cats, she does seem like she's actually very nice, but I just have zero interest in her.

I think we can all agree that, unless anyone here pretends it was that annoying asf old fart William thinking the MC has some real juicy porn on his hdd he could fap to, our certain 'someone' can't be anyone else except Alexa or Natalya. Jasmine could be a potential suspect too, considering who her grandpa is, but it's no secret that she's a fan favorite. Don't think the devs would want to risk pissing her fans off and having to face the wrath of an entire angry mob with forks and torches coming to 'convince' them to change their mind about it.

Alexa's a pretty interesting character, IMO, and I'm glad she ain't another bs cliché spoiled rich daddy's girl and most popular bitch in college bullying other students, like that nerdy girl we all keep forgetting her name, for the lolz and attention.

There's more to her than meets the eye, and I'd be very surprised to find out this sudden lady boner she has for the MC is just a simple crush or "college teacher, college girl" porn fetish, not that I'd have a problem with the latter, ofc. On the contrary, her and Kriss were a great fuck... I'll gladly play with them again any time they down for it.

Anyway, all conspiracy theories aside, we'll have to wait and see how things unfold in the next updates on the potential spy front, but my money's still on her or Nat being spies or just trying to steal the project from the MC for their own interests or to help their family business, don't matter if they're forced to do it or not by their parents.
