I dont think think it's necessary to break up with Veronica, you just need to be on good terms with her. Also don't get too excited for the scene like I did on my first playthrough.

Your hypothetical situation with "your girl" is a much stronger relationship than V has with Jake.

Before player agency kicks in, Jake has been keeping V at arms length despite her pushing for the next step. As the player, you can have Jake soften and give in, or continue to keep the distance. In situations where you are keeping distance, it would make absolutely no sense to go to V for any sort of support regarding Lily.

I like the game and I like the characters, the renders are amazing too. I'm excited to see where this game goes forward. For the LI, I think Veronica deserves someone other than the mc as she wants a proper relationship which the mc doesn't, though I did found it funny that she went to canada after MC "rejects" her. Allison also deserves better as I personally think that cheating on your partner no matter how 'lonely' you might feel is the worst thing in the world. Atleast the mc recognises his mistakes that they should've gone to therapy, and is trying his best again. Jasmine is great, not much to say. Maggie's character is a bit iffy I'm not really how I really feel about her

What is like about the mc is that he is makes mistakes but is mature about it in the end, which is great

I think my favourite character model is also Allison's which is also a big plus point. I also like Allison's route the most because I like her character and their dynamic together and it also feels like a redemption story of mc fixing his relationship and stuff.

Tldr; 8/10 game so far, Good story, Renders, characters and MC because he's mature and morally grey which I like (he cheated and there's no excuses for it but he is on a redemption arc on Allison's path). Allison is the best LI, Jasmine following close behind

It's not about logic, it's about feelings. If you give any shit about a woman, then you pay attention to how she feels about you, regardless of what your explicit "contract" is.

If you say a woman is an asshole for leading a man on when he's in the friendzone with her;

Then a man is equally an asshole for leading a woman on when she's in the fuckzone with him.

In both cases you don't technically have any obligation. But an adult doesn't just throw up their hands and say "hey I didn't agree to anything, I did completely did nothing wrong"

The weirdest thing in this game are the conditions for the sex scene with Vanessa (waitress).
-You can't fuck her on Veronica's faithful route.
-You can't fuck her on Jasmine's solo path because it prevents you from Jasmine-maid scene.
-You can't fuck her on Natalya's route because both sauna scenes don't allow it
-On my Allison's playthrough I didn't initiate romantic relationship with Jasmine in order to get a complete threesome in sauna, so I couldn't fuck Vanessa here either.
-I wanted to make a Jasmine romantic + Natalya sauna path in case it will matter later - again no Vanessa possible.
So the game forces me to make the 6th route branching from the previous one solely for Vanessa in case the dev will continue her part.
Or to make a branch for her on virgin run...
