People grow, people adapt, people change. Yes, they both made mistakes in the past and MC burried the relationship when he cheated but that doesn't mean that it cannot be fixed whether in game or in real life. Although in real life it is way more difficult, almost impossible to trust your partner again after they cheated on you.

At the end of the day these games are player fantasy so of course MC and Allison will have happy ending together on the reconcilliation path. I like that the devs went and tackled someting not many avns do, just wish I liked how they write MC on her path.

The mistakes aren't yours alone. She was cold and aloof, obsessed with work and parenting, and didn't put in the work to keep up the relationship. She still is obsessed with work and parenting. The MC gave up and cheated to get what he needed. He's not exactly monastic now. They are really good in a crisis, but not so much in the day-to-day. They've both said it in game. This is a game, so I wish you luck, but IRL, I've seen this before. It never ends well, but then again, happy endings and tragedies are determined by where you end the story, I guess.
Off take, sometimes it ends well and people mature and sometimes not.

I would agree that its really hard to get the trust back from someone you cheated on tho lol

I would argue dating your student in a situation like jake has a way higher prohability to end in a disaster if we would look at this from a irl perspective lol. Even maggie has all the wierd familys troubles, the only LI without all this potential for disaster could be be VI ... but than youre stuck with VI  (worse than all other possible fallouts like death imo)

And it was at least 80% jake's mistake, yes their relationship turned into shit but that was because he wasnt up for communication or trying to solve their issues. He said himself he prefered to hide in the garage instead of tackling them.

Just letting your relationship go to shit to validate your cheating sucks ass.

He should have either tried to get them to work their problems out (allison should have too but it seems she at least tried to communicate it) or he should have divorced her if he deemed the relationship failed.

To paint it like she was obsessed with work and parenting and therefore neglected their relationship is wrong/one-sided too, they both did that and apparently were somewhat of a power couple at work. Its not like jake stayed alone at home every day waiting for wifey to finally come home and have a bit of time for him lol.

I didn't mean to imply that I thought that Allie was the one at fault. They both were, equally. I like Allie (when she isn't being a hateful bitch), think she's gorgeous. The only one in the game I don't really like at all is V, because she's too clingy and has unreasonable expectations and horrible timing. I just believe that human behavior is predictible, and that Allie and MC do not work as a couple. I always go for reconciliation, but that's because of the coparenting aspect of it, and trying to heal the wounds on both sides seem the best thing to do.

I think Maggie is probably the emotionally healthiest of the relationships, although probably the most dangerous due to the enmities involved. Jammin is fun as hell, but being a student and employee is kinda fucked up, even for a porn game. Kris is seeming to be a psycho fun side girl, but I like her a lot (as a racer, I don't feel like a danger-averse person). Nat is awesome, but I still think she's a fuckin spy, even if she catches feels.

Imo thats something we cant really judge and everyone is looking at it painted through the lenses of their own experiences.

Maybe the breakup showed them what they miss on each other and how they took it for given considering they got together this young or maybe the other way around and they revel in their newfound freedom (allison very obviously does not in this story tho :p, Jake is kinda depending how you play him).

Even in reality when like your best friend and his girl (who lets say is your friend too) have relationship troubles, its often simply impossible from the outside to say whos at fault or who could it have been fixed or if it was never meant to be.

Here is even worse as the majority of their relationship doesnt exist (aka its not written) and we only tiny snippets of their relationship back than which seemed to be all aweseome (as thats the stuff youre nostalgic about) and even less snippets of the bad parts and how it really came to that and even that only during heated discussions.

The one time (we saw) where Jake not only admitted that he fucked up (with the cheating) but elobarated how he would act differently nowadays (aka work on their problems, maybe couples therapy but at least a divorce before fucking other women) immediately made Allison tear up despite her rage, so maybe shes just still waiting for him to mature :p

They were a couple for a long time and everything was awesome, them they got parents and everything apparently went to shit.

Kris really made a lot of points with me after (!) the maledom threesome, the aftercare thing really helped to humanize her and give her a bit more deepth. Until that point i saw her as nothing more than a lewd scene provider

Yeah, that was really a game-changer for me, for both of the girls. It made me sad that that couldn't be relationships to pursue. I want to fix all the sad broken girls...

Hey everyone!

I haven’t mentioned this before, but for about a year now, I’ve been slowly renovating an old apartment. It hadn’t seen any serious updates since the early 80s — so I’m talking full-on overhaul: new electrical and plumbing systems, tearing down and rebuilding walls, the whole shebang. Nearly every wall was crooked, and nothing in this place is quite level or straight, but I’m super happy (and honestly a bit relieved) that it’s finally done!

One of the reasons the renovation took so long was because most of my free time was devoted to Race of Life, especially finishing Episode 3.2 and the Steam release. Only after all that dust settled (pun intended), I was able to gather the energy to really push through and wrap up the apartment.

What I didn’t expect was how much time the move itself would take. I thought we’d get everything done over a weekend — classic mistake — but it ended up taking an entire week. And then we brought our three cats over… which turned out to be a whole new level of chaos. They were so stressed it took us three more days just to calm them down and help them adjust to the new space.

I finally managed to hook my computer back up on Friday — and now here I am, writing you this little dev update!

Right before the move, I had started working on the “spicier” part of the Veronica scene, which is going to feature dozens of animations. I’ve been focusing a lot on animation recently, and in this episode, they’ll be a bit longer and — hopefully — noticeably smoother as I'm still learning new animation techniques.

I also did some deep dive research and figured out a way to convert the animations so that even though they’re longer, they actually take up less space, while looking even better than before. So this update will be kind to your hard drives, but still packed with content.

I’m currently catching up to Joshua, and I hope to move on to another equally “interesting” scene with a different character later this month.

Few words from Joshua:

Episode 4 is coming along. I've got the broad strokes for every scene, now it' just a matter of adding depth and choices to the scenes.

I hope everyone that observes Easter had a good holiday. Unfortunately, mine was spent in a dentist's chair after splitting one of my molars when biting down on a piece of bone that had made it's way into a home made sausage. Tooth pain is no joke, so it baffles my why the first thing a dentist does when you have an emergency appointment with them is notice a split tooth, say "Does this hurt?" and then plunge a metal prong into the open crack.

I swear, I have never wanted to grab a handful of scrotum and twist quite as badly as I did in that moment. Not a jury in the land would convict me.

Still, I had the tooth capped and will be getting an implant so I can continue to enjoy the occasional steak. If you hear anything about a dentist being discovered with dental implements impaled in his rectum... well hopefully one of you is willing to provide an alibi.

Stay tuned!
