just pay attention to the gear you are in and go in order and shift when it's in the green not that hard

When the needle reaches the green zone you have to engage the correct gear in ascending order 1-5 with the exception of scenes where you slow down in a "cut-scene" where you should restart from 2nd or 3rd.
So, if I have gear 2 for example, I just press the 3 key when the arrow is green, is that right? And the quadrant on the right doesn't mean anything?

It depends the scene has two versions: you have to take Natalya to the convention and join her and Jasmine in the sauna.
The two versions depend on whether or not you celebrated with Jasmine after the race.
