The fact that the inconsistencies in Natalya's identity are so glaring makes me doubt that she's actually a spy, at least not a professional one. If she were, she'd probably be more careful not to let such obvious details slip.

I believe that Natalya is a spy for someone private, not for a country, she was chosen not for her competence, but for her appearance, after all, the protagonist, known for his womanizing behavior, would hardly resist a girl like her.

Maybe V hired her to get the MC for herself!
Or sugar mommy to make him accept multiple sex partners and soon MC will share you know who with other boys.

I've seen a lot of criticism here but I consider it a superb game with a varied scenario, multiple goals and complex. At least for me i rank it as the third VN after Being a DIK and Lust Theory. I've been playing VN for 12 years, my first VN was "Three Sisters" then "True Love" japanese games. With the advent of Renpy, VN games became easy to make, better quality and exploded worldwide so I begin playing them.

If Natalya isn't revealed as having a fake identity, like either a state or company spy, it would be simply because the dev wanted to disregard any past events, because it's blatantly implied to.

This is what I said in December, while still mid episode 2 but it's up to date because Natalya's new content barely mentioned anything more about herself:

In lore it's very openly implied that she isn't who she says she is by:

-Her being intentionally vague about her relationship to her family, how she is related to them and where she comes from. Actual aristocrats can't shut up about their name and family relationships, they sometimes can be lazy about describing it to everyone around, but they are never intentionally vague about such things in a meaninful conversation.

-In the car scene, she talked about her past work in "operations", how she treated people working in them (hinting she fucked them to keep them happy). She immediately realised the term was too suspicious and she tried to cover it, explaining it as a normal civilian term. But that's spy terminology and usual tactics (fucking around, both inside her team and also fucking their targets), which doesn't fit with her being an aristocrat into physics.

-She was recommended to the University for a bridge course by the NATO General Secretary, which is the (nominally) highest ranking member of the NATO. People with those kind of connections are never concerned about the validity of their diplomas, they get special privileges which bypass normal requirements for nobodies, they don't need to wait around a professor and a car mechanic. She wouldn't require such a course in the first place, her European diplomas would be immediately admited in the USA.

There might be more because I'm still mid episode 2.



Out of lore, but also mentioned by MC (let's consider this is a world were hot women are into physics, but the MC said that a woman like that doesn't exist in reality, so even in such a world she is exceptional), she is simply too hot for her to be:

-Acting like that with a nobody (MC), going straight for him to fuck him for no reason at all, even when she didn't know him yet she was talking to his friend to meet him.

-Associating with nobodies (MC, his best friend and wife), those women are always travelling around the world and surrounded by the richest and most powerful.

-Into physics, such socially active and pretty women don't touch sciences with a 10 foot pole, specially if they aren't socially awkward (she is the opposite). There are (VERY few) hot women in physics, but they are either socially awkward (they don't fit elsewhere) or leave physics before graduating (when they discover they are much more valuable in other fields).



So more than likely she is either a state spy, or a company spy.
