the shower sound got stuck, how can i get rid of it?
This was already fixed in the most recent game uploads. You can either roll back/select a different option (something other than "Let's Do This...") or save your game at the choice menu, download the game again from any of the links here, then load up your save file/continue playing.

Kinda weird they made brooke a virgin single mom

Like they wanted to add characterization instead of just her being a bumbling employee/fan by adding in a daughter but also tried retaining her appeal to purists by making her still a virgin.
Brooke is an odd one with a very weird upbringing and a lot of quirks. One of those quirks was being averted to relationships/men for most of her life and, as she mentions a couple of times during discussions, wanting to be a mother.

For most of her late teens/young adult life she was pretty lonely so she couldn't resist the urge to have a child when the opportunity presented itself. The details surrounding this are of course explored a lot more in future chapters.

Of course this is also a part of her strange/unique character arc... and a nod to those who like girls that are pure/virgins simultaneously. At the end of the day, Radiant is meant to be a fun/self-aware story with elements of erotic fantasy, so not to be taken too seriously even though it does get serious at times.

i downloaded it less than hour ago and i want to choose "lets do this" and itll get stuck.

this is also apart of her strange/unique character
apart means separate from. "cleaved apart"

You must be playing the Android version: I don't think those were updated here with the fix just yet. If you'd like, I'll DM you the link to the fixed version. One second.

Nah I'm having the same problem. I think what it might be is the walkthrough mod probably hasn't updated with the bug-fix yet, so anyone using the mod will continue to have the problem until the mod's creator updates with the version that has the bug fixed

Also I think i might be warming up a bit to the cop storyline a little bit. It still feels kinda forced, but the introduction of what seems like a possible out from that particular thread helped a lot. (Though admittedly I'm one hell of a horny bastard, so being teased with the potential of fucking that asshole's wife under his nose probably has more than a bit to do with it lol)

Don't get me wrong, this game is excellent in so many ways. Like seriously I can't stress just how good I find this game, it's just that the sudden introduction of that plot thread felt a bit like a slap in the face. Like idk it just felt a little forced, and while I recognize I don't know what the overarching plot is so I can't know the relevance of it, it's introduction felt out of place and like a very sudden halt to all the rest of the story that had been being built up to that point.

This game is written well, well ahead of time (about 14 chapters done so far in rough draft, though keep in mind I do a second and then a third [final] draft) -- so it's not like we added in Glenn with the intention of having him thwart the plot or cuck players then got cold feet and backpedaled on it. :KEK: I'm extremely anti-cuckolding/anti-NTR and I too am not fond of pointless villains in porn games who exist only to slow things down or make the player's life hell, so that was just a lot of unfounded panic by those who do not know me as a person/developer/writer. If you don't mind mild plot spoilers... Glenn Cole has always existed to be the butt of a very bad joke/to be cucked in a sort of fun/funny side-plot.

Dammed : Are you planning to put a gallery (mode) inside the game? Because I would love to replay the scenes this comfortable way, and not being forced to save and load every scene again...

You're only the second person to ever bring this up to us (for good reason). This was literally addressed the very moment it was brought up. Here's the quote/explanation:

It's pretty obvious to anyone who is paying attention that Natalie was referencing the MC's insistence to give him a second chance. Her exact words are "You must have had a reason to insist on this... continued relationship, no?"

So yeah... maybe I'm the only one who thinks this way but typically when you follow someone who tries to blow you off, ignore their attempts to threaten your life/scare you away, then beg them to give you a second chance/twist their arm until they suggest maybe getting a coffee? You're the one who "asked for it" (their continued relationship).

I'm not trying to be rude here but reading comprehension is important. I honestly don't know how to make it more obvious that the MC was referencing the second chance he was given "to make things right with her" when he literally uses these exact words multiple times. He never once explicitly implied that it was he who asked her to meet him for a cup of coffee.
"It's pretty obvious to anyone who is paying attention that Natalie was referencing the MC's insistence to give him a second chance. Her exact words are "You must have had a reason to insist on this... continued relationship, no?""

Yeah, and two sentences after that the MC tells her "Thanks for agreeing to seeing me again. I dont know what i was thinking , it was bold to ask this of you" but again, Natalie wanted the coffee, not you

But if there was any doubt, about 10 sentences later, the MC tells Natalie "That's not the only reason i asked you here today" (so you literally say you invited her there when it was the other way around)

So yeah, i think my reading comprehension is Ok and you guys have a clear inconsistency.

All of that, literally all of it, is explained by what I pointed out to you. The MC, in all of those instances, is merely referencing her agreement to see him instead of blowing him off. That's not an inconsistency: nor does it in any way imply that HE suggested coffee. If he had said, "Thanks for agreeing to my suggestion to get coffee" then you would be right. Yet those words are never spoken.

Furthermore, they didn't talk/discuss the exact date, time, place, nothing on-screen. She merely said "Maybe we can grab a coffee" and then gave him her card: this means that communication to setup the coffee-date/arrangement happened off-screen.

It is implied that the MC later contacted her to arrange a meeting, rather than explicitly stated, since she gave him her phone number. Hence why he's saying these things. It doesn't need to be explicitly stated/spelled out: literally everyone else who plays this game gets it/understands that except you and one other person as far as I know, as this is only the second time this issue was brought up. I'm merely trying to clear up the misunderstanding and explain/help you understand.

Please, take a moment and read through the scene again.

How is the phrase " That's not the only reason i asked you here today " not literally references him asking her to be here (the coffee shop) that day? I mean english is not my native language but its pretty literal

My friend: she gave him her card, which means she gave him her contact info. That means he contacted her to setup the meeting: not the other way around. While she suggested coffee -- he is the one who had to contact her to ask her to meet with him on that specific date, in that specific place, at that specific time. At any point from the time she suggested coffee to the time they met for coffee, she could have blown him off/decided to/disagreed to meet him.

That's literally all that he's referencing in the scene. Again, this is not an inconsistency, rather just a mild misunderstanding.

The only reason this stuff isn't shown/spelled out in-game is it would be redundant: treating readers as though they can't understand simple implications is bad practice.

Ok thats stretching a bit too far then. I dont think referencing things that you didnt show to the players is wise. The scene if its not inconsistent, its at the very least confusing because we never told her to be there in game, even if it happened in the writers (your) imagination

Specially when you already references two times you thanking her for agreeing to see you again (which again you in your imagination know its the relationship, but this is never said in game)

She invited you to coffee, and then you thank her so vehemently for coming because you suggested the time? It doesnt really makes much sense

Ahhh okay, thank you for explaining that. That actually makes me feel a lot better about it lol. Also please don't take what I said as like hostile or anything like that, I was just sorta explaining how the introduction of that plot thread felt. I recognize I pretty much have no room to complain as this is a pirate forum, and I genuinely really enjoy this game and your writing style, I just wanted to try giving a bit of constructive feedback and insight as it seemed there were other people in the thread who weren't a fan of how that plot was introduced (though I do agree with what you said in an earlier post, about how this place gets to be an echo-chamber, and a lot of what people said was basically "this thing bad " without offering additional feedback).

Also sorry if this is over-explaining, I tend to worry about not coming across clearly so sometimes I'll explain things in way more detail than is at all needed.

This is exactly what I was addressing when I said the following:

Sometimes details do not need to be spelled out or explained in detail, as they're intended to be easily understood through implication and it would therefore be like wasting time/filler. This can be lethal in storytelling/writing, as it runs the risk of boring players. I try to keep Radiant fast paced/scene to scene with little filler or exposition.

If there were greater than two people confused by this scene I would definitely see it as a problem... but I hope at the very least I was able to explain it to you well enough/it makes sense now and apologize for any confusion!

I am pretty sure there are much more than two people confused by this, even if they dont tell you, but whatever. I think you need to clarify it in the game dialog why you so vehemently and repeteadly are referencing something that was never shown

You be you, you are the writer and its your game. To me, even after the clarifications, its not consistent
