My Einstein quote was not about wrecking the poster - I was simply using it as a meme for not trusting everything you see on the internet/read in a DM etc.

I am on a number of threads where someone can make a claim like this, and others will simply say 'screenshot pls' - because it is too easy for total strangers to play the 'just trust me' game.

If someone can provide the screenshot, then it becomes a point of discussion; if not, it usually dies on the vine.

I've shared my opinions about why I like Radiant and shared what I like as well as provided a few recommendations to the devs on SS, and in DMs.

I've seen some improvements since the initial release - perfect - no - but some improvements.

As to your 'obvious BS from the Radiant "developer" statement, I simply don't care whether or not you believe the dev has a health issue or a legitimate reason for the delay in posting additional content.

You are entitled to your opinion.

I draw my own conclusions based on what I read, paying far more attention to what is on SS versus F95, as well as my own life experiences.

I have already seen too many good/great AVNs get either abandoned or put on an indefinite hold due to health/personal issues to ignore the possibility that Sir Damned is telling the truth when he talks about his poor health.

If I am right - I get to help another human being, someone creating something I enjoy, through a difficult time.

If I am wrong, then I have given a little money each month to someone who does not deserve it.

It's My Choice, My Risk and My $ - so I am fine with this possibility.

Feel free to make your choices with Your $ and leave my wallet out of your consideration!

Cheers! :coffee:
When there is always excuses for massive delay each update, you can understand why we don't trust it. He might be sick but it's like the boy who cried wolf.

Yes, these guys just seem to have such poor health... I guess they're all in their 80s.
You do realize that people suffer from chronic illness right? Like that's a thing... And in my country at least you have to figure out something that makes money or slowly wither away, because there's like no social safety net.

So a "job" that let's you work from home, is probably pretty attractive to the demographic of people that are chronically unwell...

Admittedly someone like that would maybe have died in olden times, although we have prehistoric evidence of early humans who have more empathy than you and cared for tribe members who couldn't contribute long past their childhood.

A chronically ill person being ill all the time isn't crying wolf, it's why they're fucking chronically ill.

Christ the fucking ableism here is infuriating...

-signed a 90% disabled combat vet who "looks healthy", but hasn't worked a 40 hr week on average in over 12 years. Nothing I have is unique to the military either that's just where I got it from and I'm lucky as hell to have a disability check supplementing my income, most civvies don't get that.

Oh wow, you totally wrecked him by invoking Einstein...Too bad you're not as skeptical when it comes to the obvious BS from the Radiant "developer".
He did not "wreck" me.
He basically asked for direct evidence, which is a very common online rebuttal meant to stifle discussion.
But there is a well-known indirect thing called circumstantial evidence. The reasoning could go like this:

--Devs are primarily in the AVN business for money and its sweet rewards-->who says no?
--many Devs--hello Radiant--have extra time on their hands (less updates)-->who says no?
--if a supporter asks for customized content, price negotiable -->does Dev say no?

So rather than discuss whether customized wallpapers actually happen, I am asked to provide conclusive proof.
All this was meant to stop any further discussion.

What's important to remember is this : these personal health reports are meant to be read by supporters. If a supporter were to openly challenge a Dev's excuses, he may be cast out.
Few F95 supporters read about a Dev excuse/explanation on this site since supporters have better access elsewhere.
So anti-Dev sentiments are very common here on a pirate site but very rare on supporter-only sites.

In the "boy who cried wolf", the villagers heeded the call twice before refusing the third time. Practical logic.
The list of implausible excuses is well beyond that in the making of Radiant. No logic, much emotional baggage.

Right, if people had "chronic" diseases (which they rarely, if ever mention what they are BTW), at the ratio that these guys do, society would collapse. It's like they all go in for chemo and what not.

For the last time you smarmy brain donor, nobody gives a damn about YOUR wallet. Discussions like this are for people who may be considering subscribing so at least they know who they're dealing with and also to poke fun at the obvious.

I know, he didn't "wreck you", I was just being sarcastic. "It wasn't on CNN so there's no proof". There was no evidence of the Enron fraud, at first, either. Besides I saw a video on Youtube by a guy called Asmongold about "whales" who were spending insane amounts on customizing their Diablo Immortal characters, so people spending large amounts on some very lewd scenes with the Radiant girls isn't that hard to believe. We did have Belle Delphine selling her own bathwater, so simps gonna simp.
--many Devs--hello Radiant--have extra time on their hands (less updates)-->who says no?
Understatement of the year. Besides, spending time on lucrative commissions would be a much more plausible explanation why updates are taking so long, than "I'm sick", "the dog ate my homework, etc".

Quick question, how many games have Dev actually created and completed? I asking about Dammed in particular.
I only know of 2. Poxxxxty and this one.

I'm starting to think it's not simply laziness but he does not know how to proceed with the story and game.
In both instances, they started off strong but with each subsequent updates became generic teenage fantasies.
Look at Radiant. I'm willing to bet most of the hype and $$$ came in off of chapter one. Well written, touched the right feels buttons and promised something deeper than the college/highschool guy fantasies.
Unfortunately, each subsequent updates since has been about every woman MC meets wanting to fuck him on the spot. No relationship development, simply fuck at first sight. The setups are totally ridiculous too. It's now after only a few updates, a generic teenage fantasy.
I think dev realizes this but has no idea how to proceed.

Yeah, imho, this is the only sin of the dev that cannot yet be forgiven. They degrade the game story wise with every update. As if the script of the first chapter was written by a completely different author.

TigerWolfe Have you enjoyed the Radiant story thus far?

Do you have a favorite character or characters/moments in the story?

My favorite was Gracie and the story of how the MC ended up where he did.

I thought the story, the surprise encounter and evening together with the MC and Gracie and how he had to flee her house were all well told and believable - something hard to do in many AVNs.

I like the triplets and Brooke but think that the dev bit off more than he can chew with creating 3 paths (love, lust, dark) in the story.

I think it would have been much easier to write just the love and lust paths - creating an either/or scenario versus trying to advance all 3 paths each chapter and coding all the 'if/then' statements to try to keep track of everything behind the scene.

If it meant getting development back on track, I'd prefer the dev to drop the dark path - not that it is a kink but that it overly complicates the creation of the story - IMO.

Have a great weekend!

Cheers! :coffee:

There comes a time when one needs to evaluate one's priorities. Do I sit awaiting a drop from this Dev. Then if it comes is it worth the wait to begin with. Unless the Dev can put out a minimum of 500-600 renders per update every 3-4 months its a Dog chasing it's tail always in sight but never in reach. I don't want to hear excuses, nor do I care about how badly John Q. Public is getting fleeced. It's a question of your time and how valuable is it to you. Only you can decide that. I'll come back in 6Mo. to a year, but I'm not wasting my time on this anymore.

I think that is fair to point out when devs are doing things that can be perceived as scummy, like still having a patreon page active for a game that has been abandoned for 3 years. But at the end of the day if you don't like the way the devs are doing things you can just stop supporting them. If you're not giving them money then just enjoy the updates when they come out, you're not losing anything.

Yeah the opening got me right in the feels. Personally I don't have any interest in a dark/corruption path, it's not how I play/enjoy games so I'll be avoiding it. I'm curious to see how things develop with the side characters as well, like the waitress, drunk driving victim's mom, and the girl from the lake. I'm also a fan of single mom assistant lady. So I think I like all the girls, the daughters are actually of the least interest to me, as daddy daughter and age play /loli stuff squicks me. But there's enough of a remove that if I can keep playing MC as not a creeper that I'm open to how things develop.

Got into this one mostly cause harem tag.

I'm terrible at remembering names unless I've played recently.

I'll be contentedly doing other stuff until more drops for me to check out.

...I feel like I should remind people that a porn game website is not the right forum for discussions on geo politics.
have whatever political views you like, far right, far left, up down BA, what have you but try and leave that at the door. This isn't the place for it.
