and it wont be till dev goes silent for 3 months (plenty wallpapers to grab on P) or there wont be update for 18 months.

I think F95zone rules should be more strict for Abandoned tag and to avoid posting wallpapers (I see here just abuse of site rules) by devs to be counted as work on game still continues but instead should be proper progress report with screenshots, changelog and etc. As I'm sure here was already posted 1 billion times in this thread, that dead horse could become alive only if dev would loose at least 5x of income to start working on game and Abandoned tag hopefully would be starting point for it.

Yeah just releasing a wallpaper shouldn't count. But it's not the job of this forum's staff, to make sure that the devs are working on their games. At the end of the day this is just a forum for pirated porn games.

This is due to a recent update on patreon, they now count the followers (you can "join for free" instead of being an invisible follower)

If you wanna put it like that, sure it's not their "job". But it would just be another rule to enforce, and it's not like it would take a lot of effort. At least I don't see how it would. There are plenty of progress report discussions on every thread, it wouldn't be hard to mark it as abandoned if no release occurred within x months. They already do that anyway.
