I get people’s frustrations with this Dev. The reality is he obviously doesn’t give a flying F what posters on a pirate site think. As long as his subs stay on, he has license to do what he wants. No amount of bitching here will move the needle.
just join their discord if they have one & if they ban you just make a new account.

If it wasn't for this site, most people wouldn't even know Radiant existed. The game owes its popularity to this site. If the developer is making money now, he owes it to this site.

I get where you're coming from but you're wrong. He's making almost $5k a month on Patreon from his work and I guarantee you he doesn't owe that to this website. I'm struggling to think of one thing he owes the users of this website, maybe you can enlighten me?

Pirate sites like this one, which is one of, if not the biggest by now, tend to make games known in the first place, if not even popular and thus increse patreon influx and create new patreons.
I guess that is what PG meant to say.
So in a sense, many creators "owe" chunks their fame and fortune, to the many pirate sites, that attract future patreons.
Getting 5k on Patreon doesnt come over night and from nothing you know?^^

That is where you are wrong. When Radiant launched, it was impossible to find Adult VN creators on Patreon, they simply did not show up in search results even if you were searching for the exact name of the creator. The only way you could get to them was through a direct link to their patreon page you could find on "Pirate" sites like F95.

You will lose your mind. I made an alt Discord account last year to get my tier 4 benefits for another porn game and so I decided to also join the the Radiant Discord (and a couple other porn games' discord). They're not even discussing the game last I checked. It's all about other games (e.g. Final Fantasy), or malding about "DEI games", and the usual grifter/manosphere nonsense. I thought I could get some preview renders for Radiant (there are some but not updated in a while) but most of the art posted there are from the Tomboy Supremacy dev posting his new previews.

EDIT: I checked now and there seems to be a short and rather gentle discussion and anger about the delays but it did not involve either devs, just the players..

He doesn't seem to care about his subs either. I've seen some of his subs tagging him on discord asking for any type of news and he doesn't respond to anyone. The only place he posts is on twitter and it's never about the game.

I said it before the current system is not sustainable since new dev with good looking games don't get much support while games like Radiant gets tons of subs yet barely produces anything and essentially milking the subs. My take on how to fix the system would be based 6 months system were if there is no update is released the account weather it Patreon or Subscribe star would label the dev account as being on hold. Notices would be sent to all subs weather still want to support the project or end it. No new people can sub to dev. The only way for the dev to remove the hold would be give a in depth update on what they been doingh for the past 6 months in order to remove the hold. This way it keep all dev honest and it would not affect devs that consistent with updates.
You completely misunderstand Patreon. It's not meant as a platform where you make content, it's meant as a platform where you recieve fan payments for content you produce elsewhere. They've added support for having content there - beyond just a download link - but that doesn't change the purpose. It's made for podcasters and youtubers, not game devs. Also, why would the website decide to stop payments? It literally hurts their income.
The system is fair. You choose if you support the dev or not. Easy. Sunk cost is not a problem with Patreon or adult game devs, it's a problem with how people think.
