I cannot understand what you insist on not understanding here. It's a site with more than 8 million members and, last time I checked, more than 50 million monthly visitors, and not everyone who plays the game through this site plays for free. There are also people who like the game and want it to be developed further, and they can support the developer on Patreon or other platforms. That's how early development visual novel games like this make money. If this game was first released on Steam and had DRM protection and there wasn't a site like F95zone, it would have been cracked and pirated anyway. I also don't understand why you continue to download games from this site if you look at it this way. Close your account and follow the games on Patreon then. The Dev doesn’t “owe” anyone. It’s his game. If he wants to fiddle away his sub support, that’s his business.
