The abandoned tag needs a serious rework imo. Just because the dev is posting fake progress reports doesn't mean he should keep his active status after almost a year of nothing.

Sadly that is the reworked version of the rule that allows games to be milked more easily.
It used to be that a game had to release an update within 6 months of the previous otherwise it would get the abandoned tag, regardless if dev logs were posted or if an update was near.

The rule is now extremely lenient towards grifting since a game only needs to release an update every 18 months, or release a dev log every 3 months.

I get the frustration with this Dev. I really do. I don’t understand the cries of “milking.” It is only milking if you continue to sub the dev. I stopped well over a year ago. If someone wants to waste their money, that’s their issue. No one is forcing them to sub. Site designation or tag won’t really change a subs mind.

Let's be honest the abandoned tag doesn't do shit. There are games that have the abandoned for a long time and still have a lot of supporters. The only way things would change is if people stop supporting devs that do stuff like this, and games like Milfy city and summertime saga have proven that the abandoned tag here means nothing people will keep supporting those games anyway.

cause the only way to made him move is ... to hit him on his pokets and money... thats the only way for developer to even work on its game at least a little... tested time after time already like 20 times...

Oh, I doubt anyone will listen to you. If the subscribers are still willing to pay, they are unlikely to change their plans. A delay? Come on, we'll take as long as it takes.
