The update is 7 - 8 months past its the original release date. Any valid reason Sir D had for a delay has long past.
Not trying to defend him at all. just saying by his posts, he may have some shit. def not a reason to be nearly 3/4 of a year late

hes blaming this late update on Alorth lmaoo, i bet its in his emails, hes just to lazy to search.
people on discord have been asking for it to be released by now, and just hotfix it day one... but nooooo
The crazy thing is that if D update his game every 6 month so twice a year most people will put up with antics. But once you get to an update 1 time per year or longer than it getting into realm of milking. Also base on the previous updates his update is not large for the amount it takes to develop. The updates are usually 600-800 renders at most while other dev are able to produce content that gets to 1500 to over 2k renders in that same amount of time. The main fault with D is that he can't keep his own word so the deadlines he sets are going to be missed the vast majority of times.

2 Does anyone actually buy that he's waiting for Alorth? If he was, wouldn't he need time for the player testing (like he said he was doing last week?)?
3 again, I don't mind delays, but I hate when people try and gaslight.
