Well, to be fair, in this Dev's defense - They actually did release an update. Not saying it is praise worthy. But it is leagues more than ICSTOR has done to date.

I mean it doesn't take much to be better than ICSTOR. It took them 6 months to release an incomplete update and 5 months after that they haven't released the rest. And the updates aren't even that big either.

Hold Up, did this dev actually compare his game to the GOAT Telltale games? Ain't no way LMAO
Telltale releases finished games with insane stories and actual branching choices in the span of 1-3months, and that's after having developed a working game engine where you can move around in a 3D environment.

That's what happens when you have a massive team of people who know what their job is.

20...perfect...but yes 15 years -_- i know it's lot of work and the game deserves to spend time on it for it to be of quality...but what prevents me from joining the patreon to encourage is that it is already at 4,000 per month and that the updates are so rare :'( on the other hand, I'm in love with the atmosphere of the game, I think it's flawless...

I'm not one to tell people how to spend their money... but in this case I'm going to recommend that if you want to support a better Dev that you give your money to new Devs instead of these, since these developers are well supported and even with the very good support they receive per month, they will not improve the progress of their game.

In other words, your money will be better in the hands of another Dev who needs it more and is worth it, because if you support this Dev hoping that the speed of updates and the game will improve, let me tell you that it will not, just by reading the people's comments from the last few months you can see the reasons.
im agree with you, you are right....so shame...i read the comments too, but we can deny he is a good gamemaker....hope he will make an update and don't abandoned the game. even if it's in 15 years.

Can someone post it here?
I can't, but I can probably predict what it says.

First, he'll start by explaining the mysterious illness that allowed him to play FFXVI constantly, but not work on Radiant. Next, he'll say he's back to working on the game but getting the full version of 0.5 will take some time. This will subsequently push the release date for 0.6 to December of 2024 approximately. At this point he'll start to blame people, like those of us in this thread, for killing his motivation to work on the game because we're always so negative. He's going to rise above our negativity and get the release done for his loyal patrons though!

Or he said something completely different, who knows.

he apologizes for his several weeks of absence, but good news is coming...your jokes are funny and I understand the frustration, the side we feel a little ripped off and above all it's abused like the updates are too long and even more when we are crazy about the game it doubles. But don't let that stop you from understanding...
We understand that he has a "viable excuse" for his absence.
We understand that the updates are ... taking a loooong time.
And we understand what "milking" is.

yeah, but there are plenty of others who are long for updates and who have a lot of subs and are less mouthy. there is part of the anger that comes from the fact that the game is good. After I agree with you, I said it was abused. I'm starting to hate incomplete games that are slow to release updates, it scares me away. let's not forget that for the majority of people, the game is FREE, so yelling at square enix or yelling at an amateur, it's not the same level...

It's not so easy to ignore something once you have got so emotionally attached to it.
Ok, keep suffering from "no updates", "false promises" and "lies" for the next couple of years then -- or pull the string NOW! It's like a relationship: it's always better to burn bridges and move on with your life if things are falling apart instead of staying and suffering.
