The only way I see this game being abandoned is if they lose a lot of support. I don't think alorth is willing to take the risk of leaving the project, because like he said in his post on patreon he is not doing very well financially. They are slowly losing supporters but they just need to release 1 update and I bet you the number of supporters will jump to 1k again or very close to it. So they can probably keep doing this for at least a couple more years.
Probably more akin to grifting and not so much /s.
He has been doing this for years and I still don't understand how people think Alorth is any better than SirD.

Because alorth does art for other games and I've never seen anyone complaining about him not delivering stuff on time.
Been plenty of complaints with his main game Neko Paradise though. The game has been hit with the abandon tag a few times too.
This latest update was supposed to have been released back in June/July but it got released in December without really any word on the situation.

He was not banned and was reading this thread some odd 25 minutes ago.
They don't have a reason to ban his actual account. He did nothing wrong technically.

His account was previously restricted, but it isn't any more; he was even online today. On the other hand, the game is still restricted.

Better to just refer to it as Rule 7.
The way you did it now it would show up on searches and could cause issues with games that does not have said content but would show up in the search for it.
That way people just look up the forum rules instead to figure it out and better understand.
