I initially thought chapter 7 would around 700-800 renders but if it's around 600 renders for 11 month of work than it is a joke. If this is D not milking his subs bone dry than I don't know what is.

Well, he says it takes him 4 months to write a chapter, but he doesn't say how much time he needs to rest between chapters.
Writing the chapter is not the end of work yet. There are still quite a lot of things to do. So the update will be after a year.
