2 Does anyone actually buy that he's waiting for Alorth? If he was, wouldn't he need time for the player testing (like he said he was doing last week?)?
3 again, I don't mind delays, but I hate when people try and gaslight.

Nah, there was a guy who usually blames Alorth for everything. He went on a rampage today, trashing all the games and praising SirD, but his post was deleted. It wasn't really that interesting, though.

SirD is a compulsive liar and a sadist.
Call it armchair psychology but it is pretty evident at this point. After making his supporters wait for nearly a year there is literally zero reason to give them a specific deadline, then messing it up every single update. Missing a date he set months before? Sure, whatever. But setting an exact timeframe, claiming to be finishing up and releasing in mere HOURS, then pushing the update days, even weeks ahead with retarded lies that would make a 4 year old blush? And this happens every release? He's either the unluckiest dude in existence or he does it on purpose.
And he enjoys it.
It's a performance, a show, teasing his supporters, annoying his detractors, reveleing in the control he has over the people giving him money and attention.
Probably gets him off.

Anyone that has been following this game for a while, shouldn't be surprised about him lying and missing deadlines. The only time he released an update on time was when alorth said he would leave the project if SirD missed the deadline.
He said he wants to release 3 updates this year(including this one), and at this pace there is no fucking way he can do that. He would have to release 2 updates in 8 months. If he is able to release just 1 in that time, it will be a miracle. And this is assuming that he releases this update this month. I doubt he can even do that.

Now, imagine if the update turns out to be not as advertised, but 20 mins of play. The server will implode with all the hate posts. Lol. I did support this Dev long ago and, overall, forgiving of timelines. If this was simple, everyone would do it. Yet, the laundry list of delays and excuses is mind numbing. While it would probably have little impact on the Dev’s timeliness in the future, it would be cool if the update was posted on this site almost immediately upon release. Certain Justice to that…

I don't know about 20 min, but it will definitely not be worth the wait. He already said that the delays are due to rewrites so at best it will be the same size of the last one.

I think that if was trying to throw alorth under the bus by saying that he is waiting for the animations, alorth would've said something by now. I don't think he would allow SirD to do that.
