I have to comment on this, as I in my playthrough, utilized the scroll function/scrollwheel on my mouse, scrolling one step forward and one step backwards over and over, making the girl punch the MC in the family jewels repeatedly, just for shits and giggles. And someone more clever than me, need to create a clip just like that.

I think they mean the flashes that occur during some of the choices. Like when you make that first choice with Bernie after he tells you not to kill anyone or when the MC runs into Olivia and Maddison arguing. I don't think they happen for every choice, just ones the dev has determined are "crucial"

Yeah that's what I meant.I don't think I saw it happening even once during my playthrough,if I roll back 10-20 times then it *sometimes* appears.

Don't pay it any mind. I've seen their posts too and they seem to think they're some sort of avenger. "Trolling trolls" to summarize some of what they've said before.

Using their own words against them "His lower than 1:1 reacts ratio tells you all you need to know". Well, Son of Durin isn't his ratio higher than yours?, so doesn't that make Dogorti's opinion more reliable? I guess that "tells you all you need to know. "

Update from Sir Damned from last night/early this morning:

Snippet regarding Radiant ==
I'm updating the progress tracker as soon as I post this to reflect where we're at. We're down to the last couple of scenes and it shouldn't take too much longer to wrap things up, create the chapter's ending credits and stat screens, finish the walkthrough, etc. I apologize once again that this took a while longer than initially planned, but I promise the second part of CH5 will have been worth the wait!
I'll also be posting the 4K wallpapers for the month of April tonight as well, and May's should be just around the corner. As for CH6, do not worry! As far as I'm concerned, despite its incomplete state, I consider CH5 to be a March release... and I'll be working twice as hard/twice as often to ensure that CH6 is released, respectively, by the end of August.

For those inclined to complain after reading this - have at it. Remember, many of you get to enjoy Radiant because others are paying your way

I much prefer an update that is later than I wanted than an abandoned tag ...

The dev sent out a long email. It's the same kind of email I've seen way too many times. "I was sick, deathly sick, blah blah blah". It's an excuse we are all tired of. If you really think about it, there must be some kind of virus that only effects Renpy devs, because these illnesses these folks keep getting sure seem to conveniently stop them for weeks and months on end. When normal people get sick, they are out for a few days to a week tops. But renpy devs, nope weeks and even months. The Renpy Virus is on the move!!!!!!!

Truth be told, 16-Years Later is kinda all over the place and never follows through on one plot line, while Radiant has more likable daughters and a better, more realistic and likable protagonist. All the 16-Years protagonist does is sit on his ass all the time, waiting for his step-daughters to fling themselves at him. The girls really aren't that attractive either.
Is Radiant worth the wait? I think so.
If you've ever tried making your own VN, you know how time-consuming it is to make a believable, quality VN. Composing, directing, positioning, compiling, rendering; it really does consume a major portion of your existence. So, just have patience. OR, don't. No skin off my teeth.

Clearly the solution is for somebody yo design an easy "volunteer" client where we can opt in to donate our spare rendering power to various VN makers. My 3090 is sitting unused entirely 3 days of the week, and only gets 4-5 hours of use on the others. My backup machine isn't quite as good, but it sits idle more like 5 days of the week. If could easily set it up to knock out a few hundred spare renders for somebody, I totally would.

I mean I'm only currently running a GeForce RTX 2070 Super on a laptop, but if I kill some background progs before going to work, I am willing and able to help.

So we will be supporting exploration on the earth as well as the stars.

We won't be looking for just black holes, but a wide (and also narrow) variety of holes from white, brown and tan to pink.

Getting behind those holes should be both fun and entertaining!

Who said the age of exploration is dead...

(TBH - this is a great idea. I don't know if it would help the Radiant team as I don't know where their bottlenecks are but a distributed network of machines doing the render heavy lifting with all work sent to a central server and then zipped and shipped to the appropriate creator... who knows! I could see this helping the Radiant team - any team for that matter - with animations since they can be so processing heavy.)
