I agree with you that D gets the majority of the blame for the milking of this game, but Aleroth needs to crack the whip to keep D in line at least some what. You can't have development time on these scales and only bring 700-800 renders for an update. I get game development is hard but as a dev your reputation should mattered for future projects.

Alorth went on vacay in sept and according to wookie ookie some irl family stuff came up so if and/or when he gets a chance to scold
sir d he will most definitely do it. But for now it's a wait and see for us.

The chapters/updates aren't that small - but they do take an inordinate amount of time to be completed...

There must be some hidden cosmic variable that uniquely affects VN developers for having illness/family problems at a rate of 10 times that of the average person.
This is very akin to me calling customers about their payments, and them telling me that they can't transfer the money right now because 'coincidentally' their bookkeeper is sick / on holiday.

Exactly lol. Or the payment pulls immediately from my account, but to correct a mistake it's going to take 10 business days for the funds to come back into my account. After 12 days of not receiving anything, you call and they say the request was never processed, and that it will take another 10 business days. I wouldn't be surprised if payment processing/billing departments are the primary jobs that most devs have.

In 4 years dev should put at the very least 25-30 hours of content, and that is me being generous. Does this game have that?
