They did chapter 6 in just under 4 months, its possible, but its seeming the average for him is about 8 months. Now I'm not sure where most of that time went, but even 2 chapters a year (6 months apart) would be good. He's done it once before, i believe he's able to do it again if he gets shit in check.

btw for me it is the greater question when 0.8 is going to come out. The fun and excitiment for 0.7 are already expired for a while ago(tbh its not only radiant, there is a bigger elephant at this forum(who is going to hit 1.3y+ bar, and doesnt promise to reduce this absurd after)

Well, this forum is definitely full of elephants, giraffes and other strange animals that should have been updated long ago. This seems to be the rule rather than the exception. As for Radiant, somewhere up there is a post where the developers swear on their mother that it will be released by the end of the month. Hopefully this month.

With 2 chapters per year (being generous here) and introducing a couple of boring side characters every chapter, we will have a Maddie sex scene by 2040.

In terms of words written? I think GRRM takes the W here. It takes him 4.5 years on average to release an entire book. Last couple of books took 6 years but that's still a whole lot more content than whatever this game has given us in almost 5 years

i would say it 50\50 if we dont count great project that just got abandoned. might be wrong. there is a many devs who updates their games constantly.
in the long updates club are now: badik(fuck 60 fps), summersgone, radiant, fakefamily(he made a side game, dating amy, but it also was like 4 years), milfy city doesnt count for me, it was already fully made game, last update was just like 10%. summer heat(also wtf animations and etc), what else..matrix hearts(his 3d man has gone), bad bobby saga, hard to love(wtf rework), agent17(changed the awaited announced girl to update), enslaver 2? unleashed, above the clouds ofc. what else? dont remember
actually a way more just got abandoned

i really think that the developer should wish to earn maybe 2 or 3 times what he earns now ? bet he wants it yeah, but then again that will no even made him work twice what he DONT does as of now on his game ...

It would be awesome if they released an update every 4 months, but at this point I just don't see it happening. In the last 3 or 4 years he was only able to release an update on time once and that was after alorth said that he would leave the team if he missed the deadline.
I hope I am wrong but I just don't think he has the work ethic needed.

I bought A Dance with Dragons the day it released. I remember it as if it was yesterday, even though it was the summer of '69^h^h 2011. Still waiting for The Winds of Winter, soon 14 years later.
