Minutes of new gameplay AND ANOTHER GODDAMN SIDECHARACTER.

One year for this amount of playtime is objectively a joke. It's embarrassing. SirD can clearly not function as a working adult, he has proven that time and again. If this is the script you hand in after a year you should be ashamed, any decent professional could write this story in a few afternoons. Which is ironically enough probably what happened. This update gives me the vibe of a teenaged stoner handing in the rushed, overdue assignment he scribbled the night before in a sweaty panic.

Alorth has already been at a breaking point before and this is clearly a new low. It wouldn't surprise me if Alorth pulls the plug after the next inevitable delay and barrage of stale excuses by SirD. No idea why he would let this lying moron with his complete lack of work ethics damage both their reputation for this long, except for, well, the money.

It's a game in progress. Might be better to just ignore it's existence until it says Abandoned or Completed and see what has come of it then. I have told myself that I should make a list of games that should get that treatment but I play them on release anyway. But there is a shocking number of games that do this here. It's both a product of the hobbyist game maker thing and people learning they can't actually make a living from doing this and having to get a job and if they have a family as well it's, not a lot of dev time happens.
I do enjoy this game, but I also agree with everything you write.

You are grasping at straws, looking for a savior, looking for a way out. There is none. People are the company they keep. Alorth is the company he keeps.

When devs are producing a game with content you really like it, it makes sense to pay and support the project. I did that for games like "Dating My Daughter", "Lewd Island" to mention a couple, but when devs start changing the game focus, procrastinating, or delivering no relevant content, it is time to quit support.
And, boy, have I done that, keeping up the monthly sub for certain games in the hope that this is the month when we'll be thrown some red meat, like disenchanted vultures flapping around a zoo enclosure. And, you know, all you get is a moldy eggplant. But 'procrastinating' is a polite term in this context. Lately there was one game (not on this site) I had to just wean myself off: promise and schedule broken, time after time, by a dev secure in the knowledge that they were offering something spicy enough that they could string along 100s or 1000s of subscribers. Each to their own. Personally, I look at the 60k pa this guy gets (just off Patreon) and think, well, at least it's not Happy Summer - there is actually content there already.
