I tried digging up a discord or contact but the links I found were dead and I'm not paying for Twitter 2, does anyone know of a way to get in touch with SirD? Hoping he might be willing to hire for the animation workload. Not sure if it's just him working on it, but would be a shame to lose too much momentum at this point in development.
The animations and the art aren't the issue. It doesn't matter how much help you have, if the script isn't written, the people in charge of the art can't do their job because they don't know what happens in the story. He has alorth doing the art and animations for him.

I'm having trouble with blonde, brunette and redhead triplets myself. But google says it's possible...
sorry that i have to tell you this but its a game, a game with ai or 3d characters.

they are in no way real, no DNA was ever passed from one human to another
there are no humans in video games / adult visual novels.

add "if they are not real humans" to your google search

I'm gonna put this particular concern in line behind "this game is frequently updated" and "all characters are 18+" If you can believe the first two, triplets with different hair color doesn't seem like too big of a logical stretch.

i mean gracie was a redhead, and the MC is a brunette. If we assume he has a blond parent it can work. Gracies redhead genes and his dominant brunette, and recessive blond. We must also assume somewhere in the mc's family he got a red hair gene too, otherwise liv couldnt get red hair.

Although since hair colour is by allele's. He only needs 1 red allele, and the rest brown, since blond is a variant of brown mostly.

Not trying to defend SirD, but they aren't even making 10k on both platforms combined. Patreon is by far the platform with the most subs and they aren't even earning 5k per month there.
But as far as I know, SirD's only job is to work on the game, so it is still weird that the delays always seem to come from his side, when alorth is the one doing the most time consuming part (art and animations).
Not weird. Who wouldn't want to make that much money by doing nothing? He doesn't necessarily make more money by releasing content either. Unless he pauses subs, which doesn't seem to be the case, it's more like the subscribers are enabling his bad work ethic by continuing to support him. But there'll always be a sucker than thinks he deserves even more.

SirD probably is also splitting the money with alorth, even if its 10, 20% thats 500 to 1k a month he isnt gaining. Since most people are playing due to the art, because the writing is a bit shit. It could be higher

i dont think animations are the problem. Pretty sure alorth said previously he needs to wait on the script to be written for him to do animations, and thats the hold up. Then once alorth makes the animations, SirD likes to change up alot of the script/story.

alorth has enough time to not only work on 2 games? i think, but also do monthly wallpapers for the patreon.
Oh wow the script is the holdup? That's surprising, but makes sense. Thanks for the heads up!

Well the good news is that they lost over 200 subs since the last release. They now have 755 subs. Dude might be lazy but he still needs money to survive. If his earnings drop below 4k a month I think he will try to release something as soon as possible.

Yes, literally the only thing which keeps him ''motivated'' to work on the game and release updates...
guess est for release is this month or next but 7.2 is out for subs so expect a drop later if any
7.2 sounds just like the usual bugfix/spelling corrections etc, it's not like it's the next update, so why care.

Yea it's pretty sad and dumb because the dude could be easily earning double or even triple of what is earning right now. Instead he is completely ruining his reputation and sooner or later it won't matter if he releases updates or not, people will just not want to sub to him.

One new release and they'll all come back...

That is probably true, but it seems like subs are dropping faster than they used to, after the he releases an update. Which means an increasing number of people are only willing to sub for a month or 2 and then they cancel their sub. If he actually wants to keep "working" on this full time he needs to have long term subs.
I think at the pace he is releasing updates he will probably be fine for another 2 or maybe 3 years but eventually, most people will be tired of his shit.

I wouldn't be so sure as long as there is an update once a year/1.5 year. ICSTOR had a few thousands patrons for a couple years without any game update

Even ICSTOR started losing a lot of subs after a while. He still has a lot for someone who hasn't released anything in like 2 years but ICSTOR had 7 or 8k subs. SirD had 1k when the last update was released, him losing another 200 or 300 subs is a huge deal for him.

I still like this game - but in this day and age a dev cannot get away with such a cavalier approach towards updates and interactions with well-meaning sponsors. Not sharing outlooks, not delivering goodies people are entitled to, promising development reports at a certain date and then dropping off the face of the earth... It doesn't wash - no matter how good the snippets of content you do release turn out to be.

A logical viewpoint, but unfortunately there are too many examples to the contrary to count.
