Oh wow the script is the holdup? That's surprising, but makes sense. Thanks for the heads up!i dont think animations are the problem. Pretty sure alorth said previously he needs to wait on the script to be written for him to do animations, and thats the hold up. Then once alorth makes the animations, SirD likes to change up alot of the script/story.
alorth has enough time to not only work on 2 games? i think, but also do monthly wallpapers for the patreon.
Yes, literally the only thing which keeps him ''motivated'' to work on the game and release updates...Well the good news is that they lost over 200 subs since the last release. They now have 755 subs. Dude might be lazy but he still needs money to survive. If his earnings drop below 4k a month I think he will try to release something as soon as possible.
7.2 sounds just like the usual bugfix/spelling corrections etc, it's not like it's the next update, so why care.guess est for release is this month or next but 7.2 is out for subs so expect a drop later if any
Yea it's pretty sad and dumb because the dude could be easily earning double or even triple of what is earning right now. Instead he is completely ruining his reputation and sooner or later it won't matter if he releases updates or not, people will just not want to sub to him.Yes, literally the only thing which keeps him ''motivated'' to work on the game and release updates...

That is probably true, but it seems like subs are dropping faster than they used to, after the he releases an update. Which means an increasing number of people are only willing to sub for a month or 2 and then they cancel their sub. If he actually wants to keep "working" on this full time he needs to have long term subs. One new release and they'll all come back...
I wouldn't be so sure as long as there is an update once a year/1.5 year. ICSTOR had a few thousands patrons for a couple years without any game updateI think at the pace he is releasing updates he will probably be fine for another 2 or maybe 3 years but eventually, most people will be tired of his shit.
Even ICSTOR started losing a lot of subs after a while. He still has a lot for someone who hasn't released anything in like 2 years but ICSTOR had 7 or 8k subs. SirD had 1k when the last update was released, him losing another 200 or 300 subs is a huge deal for him.I wouldn't be so sure as long as there is an update once a year/1.5 year. A logical viewpoint, but unfortunately there are too many examples to the contrary to count. That is probably true, but it seems like subs are dropping faster than they used to, after the he releases an update. The only way I see him dropping this game is if the there is a massive drop in support and he can't "work" on it full-time anymore. It would also be really hard for him to start a new game. Dude has a really bad reputation in the community right now, and he needs someone to do the art for him. I don't see anyone right now wanting to be in a project with him. The only reason why alorth still puts up with SirD's BS is because, his other projects aren't doing that well and he needs the money.Just wait until he drops development on this game for his new one, while continuing to promise that Radiant is "definitely not abandoned" because that would be sad.

You'll have to wait for the heat death of the universe before it gets finished and that's a big IF.The biggest improvement this game could do with is to stop repeating the sad story, we are in chapter 7 and i must have read it a dozen times, when it comes up i just speed run through it...also more effort needs to be out in to Alison and Madison i feel like they are being neglected. Also, wouldn't mind the option every so often through the game to change my mind on when i first choose interested or not interested in a character. That being said, i enjoy the game but i would have thought that after 5 years, as im new to this game there would have been more content, was gutted when it stopped at brooks.
why post stuff from 4 & 5 years ago ?Just wait until he drops development on this game for his new one, while continuing to promise that Radiant is "definitely not abandoned" because that would be sad.

To show his track record of lying about his previous not abandoned game of which next update will be the biggest of all time. Still waitingwhy post stuff from 4 & 5 years ago ?
The funniest part is that the patreon page for that game is still open and the dude is still getting money from 18 people. To show his track record of lying about his previous not abandoned game of which next update will be the biggest of all time. Still waiting![]()
