Noooooo!Don't forget the freeroams, the collectibles and while we're at it make it sandbox...sounds like a winning strategy and lots of reasons why the update needs longer
While the idea is not bad, it will delay the new episode by 2 years...
and it's too slow as it is

I mentioned minigames as a joke, but it's honestly refreshing seeing so many people against it. There are some games where people will throw hissy fits if you say that minigames/free-roam are boring. But maybe a minigame where you get to beat the cop neighbor (like the BaDIK fighting ones) wouldn't be so bad, if it was only one time and skippable.

A minigame with the protagonist beating up Cole (and if you're good, you won't even take a single hit) would be kind of interesting. Having a reply button of him getting knocked out would be also good (that happened to a certain horse faced man in the game you mentioned). Pretty sure such minigame could be included if Rachel's husband found out about the pregnancy, or caught both of them having a sexy time and went apeshit. Such move will ultimately be decided by the dev.

I mean, the worst offender in terms of minigames is Badik...that shit...so ass
You can't even completely turn them off or skip them even if you turn them off.
In general, most minigames are boring, repetitive and just all around better without it imo.
You're idea of a once off beating up the cop would be all fine in my books thought.
Free-roam can be ok, if they are used sparely, have good navigation and make kind off sense why they are there.
Sandbox just sucks about 90% of the time and in 8-9% it's implemented in a good(ish) way but it feels just unnecessary and then there is a handfull of games where it's ok like Desert Stalker.
But liking i do it only in rpgm games, where you have gathering, crafting, fights, managing aspects.

The thing is, that's just YOUR opinion, a LOT of people like the mini games. Including the game's developer. So ....

Yes, obviously that is just my opinion, to each his own.
But i want a AVN, that's why i play them, if i want to play mortal kombat i play that.
Spending more than half of the playtime on not skippable minigames is just a no, and when i drop a game, especially if it's a game where you need to repeat that for half a dozen runs.

If I want some mini games, I open Mahjong. Or something like that. If I play VN, mini games only interfere with the game. It is as if in the book every few pages there is a charade. You will not know further action until you solve it.

I think D is one of few devs that bends his subs and fans over month after month and get away with it. The amount lies he tells and false promises he makes yet nothing really happens to his sub counts on Patreon and SS. The amount of content he brings per update litterally does not match the amount times it takes him to creat said update. I think his subs have gotten so used to his behavior that it become normalize for them.
