he stated in a reply to a comment, that the redhead isnt liv..
Considering he can't talk about that character, it's very likely Brooks loli daughter.
Yea like I said, it's understandable when you lie so many times people will doubt anything you say. And to be perfectly clear I am not sure that he is telling the truth either. I just don't like to joke about that stuff.
Yeah, i don't make fun of heath problems either.
That being said, you really can't believe anything this guy says, when pretty much anything what comes from him is lies. I think it's just as likely that he just wants a sympathie bonus, or more excuses going forward.

Even if the health problem is true, which i frankly doubt, i don't think anything about game development is changing, not like he works on the game for most of the year.
Worst case he can't work on the game anymore (won't happen), Alorth can get a new writer.

Suppose the dev releases the next chapter, how do I transfer the save file from the game I have played till now? I have completed till the current release of chapter 7.
On another notem has the dev mentioned what will be the total number of chapters? From the last 2 pages of comments I have read, I see that the release rate is super slow. As I like the game, waiting years to see the end of the story doesn't feel good. How do you guys deal with that?

Transfer save files ? Well, you can just copy the save files they should be under user/username/appdata/roaming/renpy/radiant

Who knows, he said something around 20, but that was near the start of the game years ago.

You lose interest in the game, look for and play other games, notice this game is nothing special except for the good renders, sometimes you remember this game so you go in the thread to make fun of Dammed and once a year you play the game if you didn't completely lost interest.

(I am assuming you are not using Android.) It works the same way as it does for every Ren'Py game: magically, without having to do anything. The save files are stored in two locations to ensure that it is very hard to lose them accidentally. One is inside the game's directory, in subdirectory game/saves. The other is in a standardized location that depends only on your operating system and the game. Therefore:
  • Want to continue playing on another computer? Just copy the entire game directory to the other computer and continue where you stopped.
  • Want to update the game, then continue playing where you stopped? You can just delete the old game directory, unzip the new one, and continue playing.
Here is the fine print in case someone wants it:
  • The main thing that can go wrong is that the game developer is a perfectionist who changes code lines of the previous version while updating the game. The way that Ren'Py save files work is that they store the current line number and the values of the variables. If the developer changes the wrong things, save files can become incompatible with the new version. Fortunately that's a relatively rare problem.
  • If you want to be absolutely sure you don't lose your save files: Unzip the new version, start it and check all your saves are still there and the important ones actually work. Only then delete the old version.

Yeah, my preference in this case is that he *is* lying because I wouldn't want to wish a serious health condition on anyone. I'm numb enough to the promised schedule as it is, so he might as well be in perfect health.
