Progress Report for Ch8 (Final)
Hey everyone, sorry this took me a couple days. Unfortunately I've been sick on and off quite a lot lately... and to top things off, I am dealing with a more serious health related problem that I can't go into too much detail about. For the first time in my life, I actually had to go ahead and get health insurance, as... let's just say... my fortune cookie predicted some expensive future medical bills, lol.
Anyways, despite all of this, I think I will be fine, and we're still working on the chapter as normal. I've gone ahead and updated the tracker – as you can see were quite close to finishing things up, and planning to have it done by the year end.
Also, forgive me for not posting more/a wider range of previews and progress reports. I don't want to spoil what direction things are going in this chapter, and there's also "certain things" featured in the first half that I can't showcase outside of the game at all (for reasons that I'm sure most of you understand - I'd like to play things safe with the turbulent landscape adult games are in right now). For these reasons, I'll keep the previews contained to scenes that aren't spoilery or "too risque."
Anyways...
Here's where we're at with Chapter 8:
-Progress is about 90%, give or take. A few short scenes to get through (when scenes are short, I list them as "1 big scene," on the progress tracker) and a few animations.
-When that's done, and I begin testing and wrapping things up, I'll let you guys know right away. I've also been planning to post some exclusive content for you guys, including more game music, a new poll, and some other fun stuff. ← This will come right after Ch8 is done.
-This chapter features a good amount of follow up with Brooke, Chelsea, and a certain cute redhead I know many of you enjoy (and missed not seeing in Ch7!). We also have some fun times with Bernie, a surprise lewd scene, and things take a big step forward with one of the triplets (sorry, can't say more than that!)
-Most of the chapter is written, most renders and animations are finished, and I've tested the first half of the chapter extensively, so this will reduce the time it takes to finish and polish everything once the next few scenes are out of production.
Thanks as always for being so patient with us. I don't express my appreciation to you guys enough - I know I haven't always been the best communicator, but I don't want you to think I don't care about you. On the contrary, I genuinely love all of you guys... and your loyalty and support does not go unnoticed. I couldn't ask for a better group of people backing the project, and I feel terrible that you've all had to put up with my shenanigans for so long. I want to be a better person, I want to improve and work on my weaknesses... and most of all I want you guys to be happy, not disappointed.
When I said I want to get to a point where we're releasing 3 updates per year, I meant that: and despite these health-related setbacks that have made 2025 a nightmare, I am going to do everything I can to give you Chapters 9, 10, and 11 in the year 2026. If I can't, for whatever reason, I'll do a better job communicating what's happening and start giving you guys more specific/less vague updates. I hope this will show you guys that I mean what I said, here.
