To be fair he has been losing subs. Since March he lost around 300 subs. But he is still earning 4k a month. 48k per year just to sit on your ass and spend your days on twitter is not that bad.

I did notice he lost some. I think I'll start tracking it monthly to see what it is.

That's what we have today, right now. And it's been that way for over a couple of years(?). SirD gives it little to no attention, his subs apparently haven't made a lot of noise, and he still gets paid for what little he does. It probably won't change until his subs stop boot-licking and get frustrated, start cancelling and badmouthing. That may take quite a while seeing as they're under his thumb currently.

I know a dev who still had 3K+ patrons even after more than 2 years without releasing anything. You can go a long way with empty promises.

I've been active on this thread for almost a year now and they were already saying this back then... I doubt it'll change anytime soon.
It's a shame such an interesting concept and great visuals are wasted for pure laziness.

People still supported him even when the game had not been updated for well over a year and the dude was on twitter talking about how he was spending hundreds of hours playing final fantasy.
But I think his luck will start to run out. The game will be 6 years old in April and it doesn't have that much content. The older the game gets the harder it will be to convince new people to subscribe. So 1 of 2 things will happen. He will either be forced to release more updates to keep the subs at a level where he can still make a living or he will have to abandon the game.
If he ends abandoning this game, that is the end for him as a developer. His reputation in the community is completely ruined at this point so I doubt anyone would want to work with him. And without someone to create the art he is fucked.

It's not abandoned we get about one update a year right now.

Nope. The next update was supposed to be focused on maddie but for some reason the dev changed his mind and it seems like it will focus on side characters again.
It's more likely that the game will be abandoned before we get anything with allison.

I recommend Secrets and Promises. It has daughters, a wife, a best friend's wife, a sister, a niece, and others, though it is still early in development, but it already has a good amount of content.

You could mess around with the stats with URM and see what happens, make back up before you change things.
